That is the question. I have the feeling that this game could be of a higher quality than the mindless incest harem games where everybody just swoons when they see the Mighty Dick of the MC regardless of how they are related to him.

If there is a dilemma presented to the player about what he wants the outcome to be, then there are also reasons not to choose the corrupting options, like peeking, feeling her up, sleep sex etc. On the other hand, a mechanic like "corrution +1, love -1" could also work in these cases, where corruption > 10 => corruption path and love > 10 => love path.

Anyway, a game aiming for realism without such meaningful choices would be meaningless.

If you want an option where the MC fixes his marriage and doesn't have a sexual relationship with Kailey then that's fine but if she started a relationship with someone else, it would just piss people off (including me). It's a bad idea.

To be fully clear, I am not talking about the MC getting off on it, or the sex between Kailey and the third person being shown or even implied to on screen. That is not at all what I am suggesting. If there were to be such an ending, I hope she stays a virgin until marriage and the person she ends up with to be a genuinely good and likeable person.

Again, that would be the best solution any father could hope for IRL.

Actually not. I think the mere existence of the path triggers the dilemma.
The change to the right thing vs. the lewd thing.
If only the lewd thing exists, then it's actually / factually the normal thing, since there is no other way.

Let me rephrase that: it would be nice to know what kind of update schedule the devs are aiming for.

Ch. 2 took about half a year. Or 4.5 months to be more precise. Which is fine but it would be good if we knew what we could more or less expect.

I might be in the minority but I hope the Dev does not develop a sexual relationship with Kailey to quickly but instead has the MC release his sexual frustration for her in other none healthy ways where she might even catch him and eventually needing an intervention. Playing off the whole addiction premise.

Thinking about it, for a change of pace having Kailey being the one trying to slowly corrupt the MC and him trying his hardest to resist temptation.

The story in this game actually knows only one meaningful course: father and daughter must come together. Anything else would probably be real life, but not what you'd expect in this type of game.

And it's almost a little weird that some people here wish for this path in the game (the father is just a caring father) and then don't want to follow it, so that it's kind of more taboo, really?
At least I can understand the developer not even including such a path, which hardly anyone follows, because it takes far too much effort.

So, let's just hope this is where the story from Our Fate finally comes to a meaningful ending. And by the way, I really don't understand why the Our Fate developer prevented this development team from finishing the original story (see separate thread: https://f95zone.to/threads/our-fate-remake-dev-thread.91509/).
But ultimately that led to this new game that will probably be more exciting than the original Our Fate story.
