Dev hasn't been on Twitter for over four years, and last update on his FurAffinity account was a year ago where it also says he's not taking any commissions any more. My guess is he got tired and left the scene which would be a shame since he's a talented artist and the game itself was definitely promising.
The quote from the dev on FurAffinity was " It is also possible I'll get back to finishing Kusaka this autumn =,) " so getting your hopes up over nothing isn't really good. He never confirmed if he was gonna start working on it he just said it's a possibility.

Ain't that the truth. Many people forget that but you can't blame them. Their passion for the game just makes them want to see more content.
They haven't posted anything in their FA account (which is their ONLY account for their art and projects) in 7 months. I think they are just.. inactive, probably busy with irl stuff.

I mean, if you are paying for the game then you can be mad but as far as I know this game is free and public, any donation someone gave is just that, a donation and not a contract. He didnt put any paywalls for this content.
