I had no clue things was this bad up until now. I've been reading the comments on this thread and I'm torn tbh. On one hand mental health is a serious problem and shouldn't be taken lightly. The Dev's well being should be the top priority.

But on the flip side as we've seen countless times throughout this site some Devs care more about the money then the actual content they're putting out. So I don't blame any of Veqvil's patrons for angrily expressing their frustration. People aren't paying for silence they're paying for content.

This is game pretty decent and I hope for best for both Veqvil and his fanbase.

yeah we all are hurt by it and Veq very poorly execution of things, it's a damn shame..
i totally have his back, i have a theory what happened to him and if im correct i feel his pain BUT that doesn't change the fact that we talking about hundreds of ppl that putting money on the line, because they believed in him.

its the same thing with employer and real job, sure its your idea and "hobby" but you get the money not only for work you are doing that's obvious but for communication...
you HAVE to keep ppl in loop, what's going on every day, week or month. im not talking about spending every minute of your time on different forums or social media and answering to all the trolls who doesn't really gives a shit and don't support the project but for fuck sake 5-10m a week won't kill you.

Be honest, don't hide shit and don't make promises you won't be able to keep. it doesn't mean you have to tell everyone everything about you private life, to be honest it's better if you keep that shit to yourself, no one really needs and want to hear about drama in your life and how hard or bad it is out there, we all know.

it's simple road they pay, you deliver.

another pressing matter is the burn out, i don't get what are you guys thinking, you are bunch of morons if you spend on the game all of your free time without any plan or breaks, is it so hard to plan your year? to take calendar in your hand and i don't know think for couple of minutes?
take a week off every 2months? take a month off every 6 months? it's so easy and will keep you fresh and on point. pushing yourself 110% will only take you back 200% at some point.
be realistic especially if you are going solo.

yes im a fan of Veq but I will never do things like he did because now everything is dead, ppl are disappointed and even if he make a come back bad taste in mouth will stay for long time.
I wish him all the best in the world, so he can straight himself out and that he won't be back soon or at all to be honest. leave the guy alone and let him heal his wounds. I'm off from this thing as well till then.

amen, personally I have a theory, calaboration lead to fascination, and they both ran off together with the intent of hitting every drive up window from coast to coast

i rly hope all goes well, and he is back on this project soon... this is one of the main reasons im on this site..love that game... the story just got to me....

typical. he has 522 patreon so he's making over $600 cause i doubt they all at $1 pledge. so not sure but his "looking for steady work". probably has some health issue or just wants a break but this dude took months for each update. why i never pledged.
