but that only happen in fórums where they pirate the game........ and get them for free, if you are a patreon of some game you will see that the real people who support devs in patreon dont slash and critice no matter how much money they pay the dev (unless of course they have a reason to, like with the dev lying or changing the direction of the game)
in this case , veq have always been true to his word and no matter how hard things are for him, he knows we all support him and wait for him to come back.

supporting or not supporting a dev it's your choice, your claim however is demonstrably false.
when he published v0.5 he said he was forced to break saves in order to implement a sandbox structure and that he would make sure not to break saves ever again.
then he published v0.6, breaking saves again, this time around he put a big screen at the start of the game where he promised that was the last time he would break saves.
finally, he published v0.7, where he broke saves for the 3rd time in a row, claiming it was necessary cause that change in structure would allow him a quicker working process so that new versions would be published every 1.5 month, 2 months at the most (that was the point i was totally done supporting him).
that happened last October and he hasn't published new versions in 5 months.
again, you can support this dev if that pleases you but there is no way anybody here can claim he was true to his words.

if u were a patreon you should know then that he stopped his patreons pay..... dont go bs a dev just cause you think you are right.
A wip is a wip and that is normal that save breaks, thats not lying to his patreon.

I never had issues with saves, also it seems you have a lot of pent up rage for Veq

I am really trying to be sympathetic here as i was in the past with this exact Dev and while i do still sympathize with any personal problem that he still has(although i thought that was resolved but i guess it's not). This did come off as a dick move, he lead a lot of his patrons to believe the next update would be out for sure and after 5 long months(1 month being testing how the fuck does that even happen), the update isn't coming out and the game is put on hold.

Well can't really do much to change that now, so all i can say again is i wish the Dev the best and i hope he resolves any personal problems he has. Honestly maybe making games like this isn't for everybody even if you have the talent for it. Maybe a long term break is the right answer here.

Veq started acting like Gumdrop and his update was taking way too much time taking 4 months for the update and 1 month for the testing and he doesn't releases it. Did any of his paytrons asked how the hell is not able to at least release the update which he took 5 months for completing. If the game was really at 100% and was just at testing phase and he could have completed by it himself or with the help of someone else. He took more than 15000 dollars in that period and still could not release the update. This means that either he did not release the alpha build update(which could have been completed by hiring a coder and also i don't think that's the case) OR veq was lying and feeding us the false information all this time that the game was near completion. Not only after all this time he didn't release the update but also put it on hold don't get me wrong I don't have a problem if he takes a break for dealing with his life's issues but taking more than 15 Grand and not telling about his situation for months and milking his patrons. The money which was supposed to be intended for development of the game what happened to it.....Gone. and not only that he hasn't paused is patreon account and still milking. there are only a few respectable developers who do that when taking a break and Veq isn't one of them, I mean look at Instor he is taking it for couple of months and paused his patreon account why because it is respectable thing to do and its professional.
he is slowly becoming more and more like that Aorrta just false hopes and lies and milking.

So does anybody actually have any clue whats really going on with Veq? Did he mention anything himself, because the rest is needless speculation. Or are we stuck in this thread with the pages and pages of speculation and whining about patreon pledges?

I'm sometimes glad that I procastinate so hard to do things, haven't played updates for a while now, so the letdown is not so bad

All I can do is hope for a fast recovery for Veqvil, that he does accomplish everything he wishes, and that the game stay alive in the process

I think veqvil should stop the game completely. Focus on your real life. The progress of your game is really slow, and when finished, it is also very short. You should focus on one thing you really care about, should not work randomly. Come back to real life, focus on completing real life things. Please kill this game. :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL: Hugging too much work will only make you tired, and the results of your work will also be bad.
