The main components are the same. And there are no more H-scenes than before. But - and this is important - the story is told much better, much more detailed and logical, and more consequential and understandable. In my opinion it is now a well told Visual Novel.
The best thing is to play through everything completely from the beginning.
The order is important. e.g.: first bathe with Rina, then go shopping with her !

I didn't want to start a new game, but I can't progress with Lily any further in my save. It won't let me go in the store.

Since the story is told differently and in more detail in many places, the percentages in the diary are not identical to the older version ... and therefore not comparable if you don't play from the beginning. So what you're asking here is hard to assign.

No. it automatically resets just that one character. so you see all her scenes again.
It keeps your affection / lust points with her.
Just use the in game guide to rush through her content again to see the new content.
On my first playthrough I got fail on Rina's lust, started over and now I got fail on her affection. Am I doing something wrong???

This means that you have to wait, until some events
have happened with Hana or Lili. Then you continue with Rina.
