Hey, sorry for the lack of updates. Just wanted to write and let you know I'm not dead.

As I've said earlier, I hit a bit of a roadblock creatively and decided to take a little break. I admit that that break has gone on a bit longer than I intended... I've been trying to get myself back into the swing of things recently, but have been having difficulty keeping myself in the writer's seat and gaining any kind of momentum again. So basically, I haven't posted updates since there's been no progress to update you on.

Just wanted to let you know what's up, in case you were wondering. I'll post progress reports again when I have progress to report!

Just wanted to let you know that I admire your dedication to this project, and very much empathize with your writer's block! I published a few stories on literotica in the past, and more than an year ago I started working on a historical femdom romance novel myself. (to give you a very brief plot summary, the main character is a young student from Petrograd and Red army soldier during the Russian civil war of 1918-1922, and he will fall in love with an aristocratic landlady who happens to be a 400 year-old vampire when his military unit comes to her estate near the city of Perm to seize/confiscate it) I wrote 4 and a half decently-long chapters of it in a few weeks, and then hit a writer's block I've been stuck on for more than a full year, (partly because a lot of issues crept up in my personal life and I couldn't think enough about it, but still) yet I love the premise of the novel, had lots of ideas about the lore of its universe (stuff like different vampire lineages/societies that exist within and a "nightly history" of its world), about many scenes that would happen later on, the end of the book or even potential sequels, but, like you were with the main scene you were working on for some time, I'm stuck at the current point in the plot. Still, as I said, I poured a lot of thought and passion into the concept and lore of the in-book universe, as well as melding it with real history, and into the characters and writing, so I promised myself that I'd finish the novel even if it takes me 5 or 10 years to do so and publish it!

So, as I'm no stranger to long writer's blocks and personal issues burdening one's imagination/creativity, I just wanted to say that I'll still check on this game and would love to see your vision come to fruition and play a complete "Love dealers" one day, no matter how long it takes you to get there! You have a lot of writing talent and, unlike many devs who abandon their games overnight, plenty of drive and determination to keep going and posting these progress reports, which I believe all of us that still frequent this thread respect and admire you for! This also tells me that you genuinely love this game, not that it was just some side-project to make money or to get your mind off things, so I'm confident you will eventully find it in you to finish it. You also don't have to feel rushed, as all of us that loved your game will support you no matter how long it takes for the next update!

This is absolutely one of my favorites, I love the writing for the girls and the obsession mechanic is so fun, I'm stoked for the next update because I'm certain it'll be amazing. Take your time, it just builds the excitement

This game has potential! I really quite enjoy the Kaylie path, Giantess isn't my thing at all generally speaking but well I guess we can't like everything & I know it's popular & very enjoyable for others so I'll focus on what I do enjoy, the part I enjoyed the most is the ass kissing, there was a moment there where you can continue & essentially kiss all your pay away & it's essentially done for free & it was SUPER HOT! I've not seen that happen in a game but I LOVED it!

It's like that part marked a very important part of falling for her, like up until that moment, every act was essentially a selling yourself for money, it wasn't dignified but it was essentially for money, that moment however marked the first time doing something not for pay but for worship, proper submission, that was the moment she could have known that I was her bitch then & I was very eager for her to offer one more kiss but for me to pay a large amount just to prove a point.

I would absolutely love more moments like that, I see in the post above that you're still working on it & I know it'll take as long as it takes (I write & it's the same for me) so I thought I'd throw this in here to add the moment I enjoyed the most & I'm looking forward to whatever updates you come up with in future, lots of potential with this one, thank you for all the effort to create what you have so far!

I can't really say if I have a single favorite moment myself, but that one is certainly near and dear to my heart. I kinda remember wondering whether it was okay that I was giving the butt-kissing so much more than I was giving most of the other random tasks, but at the end of the day I knew that I wanted it to keep going after the initial ten kisses, and I'm certainly glad now that I didn't cut it...

It was a unique moment that really stood out, I think I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't just the worship that went further but the findom aspect of it, a lot of games don't feel they have that much but it adds more weight to it, plus how she humiliated the MC for keeping going, it was all kinds of YES from me.

It's understandable, some like giantess, others don't, I'm not very keen on it personally as mentioned but I understand that it's a central part of the game & I think it's good to have it in the sense that I've not seen many giantess games so it's good those that enjoy it have something to experience with it in, so I certainly don't begrudge it being in the game at all, I don't expect all games to cater to everything I like specifically with no regards to anyone else's kinks especially not the person creating it themselves! I'll simply be happy with having same size routes & content like the Kaylie route & was expressing my enjoyment of that part of the game, since you never know, I'll still be trying the giantess routes anyway, I might grow a new appreciation of it, I've developed new fetishes & kinks before that I didn't quite understand originally but eventually clicked into place.

Honestly, I love the same size content building into the size content, it makes it feel like a progressive domination. It really helps sell the obsession mechanic as well, by pushing the limits in how far you want to go. I'm definitely partial to size-play, myself, I'd give myself to Kaylies booty every time.

Yes, but very inconsistently. The last few months have seen almost no progress. I'm trying to get myself back to writing, but I kinda always am, and only rarely do I succeed... I do plan to make progress reports again when progress starts happening again, but typing a couple new sentences or editing a few others doesn't seem enough to really be worth mentioning, which is why I've been silent for a while.


On the plus side, while trying and failing to sit myself down to write more for Love Dealers, I've actually been developing my ideas for a potential game to work on after this. I've got probably a little over a dozen ideas for games that have been rolling in my head for several years now that I like, but this one is actually starting to get much more fleshed out and is more ambitious than most of the others in terms of story, with the potential for character growth, several themes running throughout, some philosophical questions and maybe even a political allegory or two. I'm kinda excited about the prospect of one day writing it, though the story still needs a lot more work and I still need to address the issue of my inability to produce artwork first. For now, I'd better get Love Dealers moving again. I really need to release the update I've been working on for far too long now at some point...

Honestly, I wish I could say for certain. I've made several attempts over the last few months to get the game back into steady production, and so far I've failed miserably. Don't know what it is, writer's block, laziness, lack of motivation... I just sit down to write and can barely squeeze out a few lines even after several hours. Whatever it is, I need to figure out how to push through it, because I'm very well aware of how ridiculously long it's been since the last update.

Right now I've been slightly preoccupied with a bit of a hard drive failure - don't worry, the game files are safe, but man, recreating about a terabyte of collected porn takes some work... That's soon behind me though, and I'll probably make another attempt to get back to writing over the next week or so. If I still can't get any momentum, I might try what I did last time to get me out of the muck and leave the character I'm stuck on to write some shorter side event for a change. Only problem is, this time I don't have another short event in mind, but I suppose I can try to think of something.

So yeah, sorry for the eternity that it takes me to write new content, just know that the game is never forgotten on my end.

I think you've answered your own conundrum. While it'd be ideal to have a good update, don't stress over satisfying the fans. We're used to waiting eons for updates to content.

Writing takes time. Relax. Get to it when you can, and know that we'll love the product when it comes out. Don't worry about if it's going to be good or live up to the hype. Whatever you produce, whenever you produce it, will be great.
