I would not rely on Bethany too much. I see her as possible "Mia" but for MC, the person who will try to corrupt MC (instead of Lacey). They first dialog in the office is very clear about it and I don't think it was all jokes and such

For now she is my favorite(big fan of gingers) and Kelly is a close second(damn Kelly it is HOT)

she is just a virgin catholic girl with strong morals, trying hard not to fall for the MC because he is a married man and that is again all she believe, hell she is probably the closest one that can give the MC the "normal" life he always wanted. Oh and shes is also not part of the crew.

This is exactly the reason why she should be the corrupting one. May be unconscious. Religious people are often the most eager to corrupt and/or be corrupted.
Regarding beeing not part of the crew - this is just temporary I believe. Everything is pointing that she will become part of it soon enough.

I was thinking recently that MC in this story has some features referencing the previous story of Professor - On distant shores (if I'm not mistaken). The MC has "super power" to charm/understand other people (this is noticed many times during the story). But he also has physical super power (remember the scene in the gym with Bradley).

It will not surprise me if the story got weird turn towards the end (similar to the first one). Although it might be disappointing because its much easier to explain everything with supernatural stuff, but I hope that Professor will not fall in this trap and create some amazing plot twist. The first story is pretty good in this regard.

I don't disagree, but I wanted to share a short story of when I was in college. Zero sex, but a true life scenario of men behaving like a cartoon wolves over a pretty girl.

In university for fun we would sometime hop down to Mexico for partying as their drinking laws were 18, so it was a nice change of pace to drink legally eand not worry bout cops citing us. For some reason I can not remember we got to our favorite Tiajuana club right at opening, probably to start drinking asap but coulda been cause we had a ride that time instead of taxi. Either way, I was standing at the bar getting my night started, two shot of tequilla and a corona, why wait to get buzzed. There were already like 15 other people there, all guys when two girls walk in. As if on cue, like in a fucking movie they walk to the dance floor and AC/DC's You Shook Me All Night Long starts playing. One girl was a short petite white girl with long dirty blonde hair down to her ass, and she starts dancing like the white girls in 80s MTV rock music videos, and no lie, the entire club feels like its become electrified, and nearly every single guy gravitates to her instantly surrounding her on the dance floor. She and her friend put their hands out, shake their heads no and continue dancing, while the men back away in a small ring of testosterone and hormones, the air was fucking thick with it. The girl was fucking magical, the response of most the guys looked choreographed, I swear they all moved in time to her. I have never seen the like again in hundred of parties, raves, clubs, bars and the couple orgies I checked out. I have been to Frat parties where they try to get freshman to join by having strippers and or serorirty girls at the party stripping or doing sex acts for all to see. Men just hovering round naked women like mindless fools. Been to strip clubs where over half the guys were waiting for their turn to get a lap dance from the same stripper when their were at least 10 hot ones walking around the room offering. I saw like 20 minutes of those college girl videos that flash the camera and theres a sea of men trying to grab their tits. Been to New Orleans Mardi Gras, and actual Carnival in 2 different South American nations, the ones with massive parades and floats from all the communities as well as all the depravity that can happen at the after parties. But I have never seen like that one night in Tiajuana.

Some people ooze sexuality, they way some fat people ooze greasy sweat. If that girl in Tiajuana had fucked all those dudes right there on the dance floor, and her name was Lacey, idk. I think I would believe these ridicuous events in the VN could happen. I mean, porn stars get 100 strangers to line up to fuck her for a video shoot with ease. it shouldnt be that hard to believe some men would behave this poorly.

Guys come in at opening, wait, start drinking and as soon as the first pretty girl walks, she became everyone’s prey and i’d watch coordinatedly hit on her like they had drawn numbers or something, all of them just waiting their turn


But the Tijuana things, you’ve given me ideas what else Lacey could have be up to in Phase 3.
We still don’t know what she got up to during spring break, hope we get a wild reveal

I said this before I think the MC is either dead or dying. When he first was at the cliff, I believe he jumped no one saved him. The Dev is M. Knight Shamalyn, his work is either supernatural or mentally delusional. I first thought asylym but then I was like not dramatic enough death would make this hard hitting. Plus the banner is a cliff so that also makes me feel death.

Ok I might be hopeing too much.

So are you thinking he is "The monster" via some type of "split" personality concept? I think it was discussed a bit already, but I am not sure if anyone countered the theory specifically.

You could also look at it from the perspective of it being a foreshadow to him actually doing some Lacey betrayals, but I doubt that theory because the professor hinted at ACT 3 being about him growing concerning the issues.

Might just be a simple phrase as a rebuttal though and not intended for any specific meaning or story foreshadowing.

This was "my" theory, MC refers to himself in that scene and in a later dialogue after the gym with Isaac in the same vein.

Sadly, I can see how many issues the theory has:

• Monster would need to know about the video beforehand
• Monster is investigating Barty's company and knows he got new employees
• Monster knows about Mia's plan (not the details)
• Monster seems to know the "future"
• Monster talks about his appointments

There are a few pros in the theory as well:

• No one has ever seen the messages MC receives so they could be part of his imagination/written by his other personality
• As we said we get this hint of MC referring to himself as a monster
• He has memory losses, as shown in the promotion party scene

So the theory is fun, even if it would need a huge, actually immense, dosage of suspension of disbelief.
The Winne one is also fun.

"That voice sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't place it."

"If only I could go back in time and find a way to free you from your parents."

This line is a hint that The Monster is the MC from the future.
