Hi, I tried a few things and also checked the files directly.
I have to admit though, I'm not really sure how the file is built and the fact the search function won't work for some reason are both not helping.
I know that my file says "black_rose2_olivia" followed by some non printing characters, yours doesn't even have "black_rose2_olivia" I can only find "black_rose2" followed by some non printing characters in both. (The search works if you copy paste the string in one file into the search field of the other, at least in notepad++)

Did you start this file in an older version? That might be the cause. Probably best to ask the master behind this directly though.

Other than that I can suggest you look into the menu and then options I think, you should have the option to look at "memories". See if the images are there.

By the way, anyone else having problems with the volume being super high? I set the game to around 5% volume in the options and then I put it down to 3% in windows as well and it's still as loud as when I turn on spotify.

Yeah, the save was originally from when act 4 was completed, don't know what version is that. I guess I'll live without it, I'm not starting over for that

You can always just start a new save just to unlock the scene. On the right side of the save/load menu you can even choose a specific day to load instead of just act ends. Just start at day 70 and go from there. Either you have to do all 3 black rose quests or just the last. Then it should stay unlocked in the memories section of the options

I just came back from working up north in the bush, to an incredible update!
I LOVE creators who clearly love the story they are telling, who clearly enjoy putting in the precious time to make things consistently better.
The renders look to be of higher quality like someone fine-tunes them with a damn scalpel, the animation is in another category altogether its so good, every single update they get to be of such high quality, I always think "Yeah that's the best they can do, the best ANYONE can do" and I am always pleasantly surprised!
I know you have seen me rave on about how much I love this game and the creation that goes into it, including...no ESPECIALLY the story but I have to point out one thing again that really blows my mind, the DIALOG is like you throw your ideas into a giant thesaurus and pick out the best sounding word that fits the mood and description.
The attention to detail in the dialog is crucial for a game, especially a graphic novel which I have played many of, and this game takes it to heart like it loves the language.
One thing though, I updated the version I received from Steam and am missing the 3 or 4 renders of Molly showing off the outfit I bought and sent her, does anyone have them or know how I can add them to the game?
As always this is my favorite game, its the only one I checked for an update on after being away from home for over a month, and my top choice if there s ever an award ceremony for top-shelf games !!

Are the porn folder games recommendations of the dev's favorite games or something, how are they selected?

Initially they were games from devs I knew online, and had fun with. Then over time I started asking discord regulars which games I should be doing, or doing it based on games I played that I enjoyed. I recently added What a Legend because I'd played their game and enjoyed it.

Yeah. Book 1 will end on 31st December 2019. Book 2 will be a new EXE/download.

Checked out your savegame; not quite sure how you got yourself into that situation but here's a fix to get the Black rose 3 to trigger.
1. Open up cheat menu(CTRL+J)
2. Add a flag BLACK_ROSE3 and press enter
3. Wait to night, go to Starcucks

Yeah, it was a bug in the build process (Friday was a nightmare of technical snafus, that one being a side-effect).

You need to upgrade the Crowley; most of the side-quests come out of upgrading and working there. For upgrading, you need Special Ingredients, which you find in Elsewhere... easiest way to grab them is bring Bella along and ask her to search.

I picked up this game last night, it was recommended to me as I've been really into card games of all sorts recently.

I didn't expect to power through it in two days. The poker game was fun to the point where I'd play more of it just for the heck of it. And Emily, especially in the beginning when she was all innocent and didn't know how the normie world worked- And ack, my heart can't handle all this cute.

Overall, I'll probably be coming back a lot to this one. Encountered a few minor bugs (like Molly's day 71 email being glitched out or Chloe's sprite disappearing) but nothing that didn't quickly get solved by re-loading an old save or entering debug mode. That aside, thank you for this game I found myself being unable to put down. Looking forward to more content (and more Emily) in the future.

I just finished Chapter 5 and while it was excellent as always, it seems like the last half of the animation was...well rushed would be a good word for it.
Choppy, minorly glitchy (if that's a word) fading out unnecessarily, and not entirely matching the music that supported it.
I compare the animation to the first set I witnessed in this update with Katie, with the end of the chapter, and even compared ending 5 with the end of chapter 4, how epic that was.
BUT there were more animation scenes than I had predicted, and more story that unfolded, so I can understand the focus, and how it wanes when time runs out.
But that brings me to an open question though, does time really run out here to complete a chapter?
Do you get penalized for not having an update in a certain amount of time?
I only ask this because have seen games that were created in 2018 that are still at 0.2 with incredibly slow progress, THIS game has an enormous update every month or so, AND the content is usually staggering in quality.
BUT that was just feedback, keep up the amazing work that you should still be immensely proud of, this is my favorite game and always will be.

I think it's rather the case of diminishing returns; the better I do some parts of the animation (and the less I cheat, like I did shamelessly with the Act IV videos), the easier it is to spot the parts that I do badly. I mean, I'm *proud* of the work I did on the Chosen Call video; but it's also a stark reminder that I'm a programmer, not an animator. I hadn't even opened up AfterEffects until midway through Act I, and had never tried to animate something in DAZ until Katie's animation, so there's a learning curve involved.

No, not really. I mean, there's usually an interest bump each time you launch, which is great motivation, and I know from Making Movies that the amazing discord community I rely on to keep me motivated will drift away if I stop actively nurturing it, but I certainly could use a less intensive launch cadence without anyone coming around to beat me. Having said that, I've built some tools that lets me be pretty efficient at building the game, and I'm having fun, so keeping a ~4-6 week release cadence makes sense for me. This one took ~2 months (last release was end May), and at some point I looked at what I had planned for Act V (which was originally supposed to be 40 days, rather than 20 days like Act I-IV) and realized I was going to need to split it in two, otherwise I'd still be working on this release come Xmas.

I came for the plot, I stayed for the plot. I love magic and this did'nt fail to deliver. Once more an amazing update, when I saw this come up I got genuinely excited and winded up playing the thing till 6AM. The relatable writing with a few references here and there are awesome. That cliffhanger though, the next month or two will be agony. Please keep doing what you're doing
