As a side note this would have been filtered from my normal recommendations stream on steam due to the 'card game' tag.

Obviously the card aspect is a unique and rather fun battle mechanic to the game rather than being a more typical story-free poker/solitaire/etc type thing. I don't know the right answer to clarify this difference on steam, but something to think about.

I think the developer did a great job with it, Hopefully we get more updates on this story soon.
while supporting games like mighty number 9 taught me to avoid supporting half finished games, this one is well worth the price.

Once again I have to say: the story is insanely good, the gameplay is quite good but the sex scenes are a bit subpar.

I will continue playing and following this game for the story alone even if the porn aspect disappoints a little.

Yeah, I need to get better at that. Of all the sexual scenes, Emily's Homework III (Taking and Giving pleasure) is, to me, the best. It did however take a lot of time to get right.

Any specific game/scenes I should look at?

I thought you did a great job with the group sex event. The first sex event with Katie is the worst. It is super rushed and has no soul. It is also highly unrealistic. Katie has three orgasms in the very quick casual fuck session (sparring event if I remember correctly).

Also, I thought you could have done a lot more with the Katie dueling events. It was rather short lived and there could have been more too it and a lot more playful banter with upping the bets and rewards. It is kind of too late to do much about it in book 2 since the player is now a God with tremendous power compared to Katie.

Overall, the game is a near masterpiece. The story and characters are the best part of the game by far. The unique combat system is a close third. You really nailed the story and character development and is, by far, the best part of the game!

The adult sex part of the game is really the only thing keeping the game from being a true masterpiece in my opinion. I detailed this more in my review of the game a while back.

I don't know if you fixed this or not but Emily doesn't have an orgasm during most of her sex scenes. Emily's sex scenes are some of the longest ones that you've done.

One small complaint is the too often used, "were about to have a nice sex scene and then something important derails it." The ratio should be more like 75% derailed and 25% its happening. Some sex events get derailed up to four times in a row. The buildup and wait is good but you need to deliver on it more often also.

Nearly everyone wants more meaningful sex events. Chloe (I think her name is, I renamed her in game - the sorcerer in the Crowley) really doesn't have much at all in terms of sexual content. This is something that you could really do well in book 2. You could do a lot with Chloe. The player's relationship with Chloe could develop into real love. There then could be tension between the player, Emily, and Chloe. Love triangles usually make for good drama. That is just one idea. Either way, most players want to taste Chloe and develop a sexual relationship with her at some level other than casual (i.e. I'm just doing this to ease your stress and tension).

Let me preface this by saying the models themselves are absolutely gorgeous.
It is mostly the camera angles and sometimes weird positions. In a porn game, I want to get a good view of the actual penetration. I understand "soft" tissue 3d modelling is very hard.

The scene where I realized this most was the one on one with Bella, she is one of my favourites I was really looking forward to it.
With Akane, everything was hidden in the shadows.

In a nutshell, I'd like a better view of what's going on.

YOU, my friend need to treat that old hard drive to a very long nap and pick up the components to build a desktop, that's the only way I go unless I need to do some traveling, then I still use a beefed-up and altered laptop.

Nostradamus was right - hard disk failure a week ago , so I need a new laptop !

MacOS may need you to use chmod to set execution priviliges.

The other thing that could be going wrong is security permissions; Apple is gradually tightening up OSX to make it harder to download anything that's not from the Apple store.

Oh if only I did, that would solve the massive debt I am in right now that is going to put off getting a house for another 11 years or so since I just passed the legacy marker of being on this planet for half a decade some 3 days ago, that's looking like I will never own a house.

Anyway, enough of my sob story, I DID happen to foresee you were going to put off fixing your computer since it wasn't exactly broken, but I can pass on some suggestions if you would like to hear them;

Hop onto Facebook and look for buy and sell pages in your area, then do a limited range search for the parts you are looking for, you should only need a new 2.5" HD (Solid-state is going to be relatively cheap keep in mind and is the best choice) or look for a newer used computer, I will say again a desktop since you could even hook it up to any modern TV that has an HDMI connection as a monitor like I do, but you are still leaning towards a laptop regardless of what I suggest lol.

So on that note, you will need an operating system that you used for your laptop (Win 10 is best of course but you might be able to use a friends, so whatever they are using), just install the disc and follow the prompted messages that will guide you through the steps.

You can look on sites like Newegg, Greenleaf, or even Amazon to get you that HD or SSD btw, if that's the route you are going for, Amazon is my go-to, for speed and reliability.

If you're replacing your laptop HDD, just make sure it's an SSD... it'll change your PC's life.

I was intrigued until I saw the tentacles

Tentacles are very much a bit part.

I just completed a run through of the Steam release and hit the tentacles twice in events (one optional, one not) and a few times as wandering monsters. Call it maaaybe 10 minutes out of a couple of days of play

While in the events the tentacles have grabbed the girl and implication is they are about to get all rapey, you just save her first by blasting the wee wigglers to smithereens. It's really not a sex scene as such.

Fighting them on the paths they're just another monster.

Thank you both for your advice , existing laptop not worth repair as dvd player already faulty and battery not good . Been meaning to replace for a while but not got round to it . Problem is with the weird world we are living in laptops are in short supply and there is a lack of choice , probably best waiting until after xmas .

At the moment the game will just about run on a 2GB celeron 32GB ssd . You could say its getting tested on some really crap hardware

73MP3ST - I would not like to predict what the world will be like in a years time , hopefully it will be a better place . Peoples priorities are changing . At the moment , like most people I am just fighting the good fight doing what I can to keep things going .

Steam also opens it up to a wider audience; initially I was just going to give it away for free there as well, but the last year has sucked, financially, and I finally ended up seeing if I could make some cash there.

Personally I've found that it always pays to be nice to people , its kept me in work the last 10 years . Professionally I always help where I can because I never know when I might need someones technical expertise to help me , I am a terrible user of people .

Different teams; Paradise Lust is 4 guys + freelancers (I do the code, Chase does writing/story, Sven does art and animation, Rockwood does scripting. Then there's 3 artists that have contributed background and character art), Love of Magic is just me. Wouldn't make sense to put both on the same Patreon page.

so i have made it to the part where mom is running the bar and its the day after we get emily's equipment back when i click on the computer the whole game crashes anyone else have this problem
