Did I miss something again, or should I just be patient?

Anyway, now that I asked my question, what the hell is this game. It hit like a freight train. Honestly, I actually found myself wiping tears off my eyes a few times, and that hadn't happened for maybe over a decade. Who knew a game found on a website where people come look for wank material would play havoc with a man's heart like that. I'm still trying to get my bearings. Holy shit.

I still haven't used the walk through, after playing the game 20 or more times. May have been on the 5th or 6th time thru that I stumbled over the new Dylan healing spell.

I blame Droid Productions for the tears! Damn him for creating characters that people care so deeply for!!!

update/redownload to the latest version. I've found it fixes most of the problems people are reporting lately. Droid has gone back and is tweaking/overhauling quite a bit of the backend stuff and it affects all kinds of things nobody thinks of!

and yeah, a teary eyed "UP YOURS!!!!" to Droid for pulling at my formerly robotic heartstrings!

I can't talk to Emily at all. With or without Dylan around. I don't even know if I'm supposed to be able to. Don't think we even talked about hunting together, either. One morning, I was making the calls, and the "Let's call Emily" option just showed up. We started partying just like that. Hope I didn't break anything.

weird....i'm on day 34 and i JUST triggered it......Emily, Dylan, and Bella in my party......i brought Bella for her +5 moves....

I guess that's the one, yeah. Thing is, when I try to talk to Dylan at the camp, the only option that comes up is the "you're getting stronger" line. The generic one I normally get. The game acts as if Emily isn't there with us. By the way, I can't talk to Emily, Katie, Akane or Kitsune in private, either, in case they should have dialogue as well. Bella and Molly seem okay, and I didn't test Chloe.

By the way, you're the dude who made this game, right? Awesome work, and I do mean it. And screw you for Book 3, heh. That shit shaved five years clean off my lifespan.

It's been a wonderful ride, and I'm still reeling. Half of the shock comes from the fact that I fished it out of a porn site.

Now, I have absolutely no clue how this coding stuff works, but I guess I gotta figure out what switches on this EMILY_ALLY flag so I can get closer to the root of the problem, right? Because if I'm not getting the dialogue option, that probably means EMILY ain't registering as an ALLY for some reason.

<NAME>_ALLY is set when you enter Elsewhere and bring that person along as an ally. So EMILY_ALLY is set when you add Emily to the party, DYLAN_ALLY is set when you add Dylan to the party. CHOSEN_ALLY (and the individual MOLLY_ALLY, AKANE_ALLY and BELLA_ALLY) are set when you get the chosen together.

I actually "added" her to the party three times before the game said that's enough. Curious. I'll have a look. Out of curiosity, can you double-add any of the other characters as well?

You can also add the flag manually (Ctrl+J, add flag). Note that it's reset when you start the line "Let's get the team together".

Katie has the same problem as well.

Personal Rage don't seem to do anything other than keeping MC out of the glade in book 3.

I had personal rage at 100 and battles were the same as if I had 0.
Battle Rage of 100 and damage is way higher during battle.
