Yeah, it looks like the windows version of book 3 is the steam version, it'll work fine if you have it on steam, but it'll probably bail on start if you don't. I'll upload a fixed version.

Yes, you can skip most story-based combat. You can also press '0' to auto-win combat.
You're missing out on a reasonably deep combat system if you do, though.

It grew too big; Android APKs need to stay <2GB, and Book 2 is ~6GB, Book 3 10GB. I tried to fight it as long as I could, but in the end keeping it updated as a separate platform, paying for hosting it, etc it became too much.
