I got 'Unexpected End of Archive' from the DataNode version (6.1GB).
Downloading the MEGA version now (9.5GB), but it's gonna be later (five hour delay) before I get it completely downloaded, since I'm not a subscriber and get 5GB limit/day, and I've already capped out on Pixeldrain for today.
Yeah, 6.5GB is too small (it's a rather... large... game at this point). Guessing they're serving a corrupted version.

Ok, I'm playing Book 1 again. It's like my 6th time through the game and I never remember to ask this:
In Elsewhere is there ANY way to switch Gem Decks between battles? I know I can switch at the start of combat IF the enemy doesn't have First Strike, but when on the screen with the three cards in between battles there is no way to change decks as the Icons (calendar, quests...) vanish.
There is what looks like a buggy way to do it in Book 2 (or is it 3?), I think, where you can right click to save and the icons reappear. But nothing like that in Book 1. The Wiki talks about being able to switch gems between battles or before you or your opponent attacks when IN battle. So is there a hotkey I'm unaware of?

No, once the battle starts, there's no way to change decks in Book 1 after your first use of gems; and against a Cambrion, you can't change at all. And now that you've told Droid about the exploit in Book 2 (or is it 3?) he'll probably fix that. 
ok let's say i struggling against Chort and Eyeless Lords in NG+ book1. No idea what to do with they poison

According to everything I've read (wiki) it seems we're supposed to be able to change our gem decks, but I've never figured it out. After a battle when getting your XP and drops you can change the gems/deck, but that doesn't help when you're about to fight a Fire elemental with First Strike while using a mostly Fire Gem deck.
Yeah, you can always change. Should be a deck looking button on the top right.
You can also change before you do the first move (unless your opponent has first strike).

I just can't seem to explain very well...
You're right, there IS typically a deck icon in the upper right. Except when you are in Elsewhere, you know when you go through the portal in the pub basement? On the screen where you have the 3 Cards that you flip over to see what encounters you get to choose from? That, that screen, is what I'm talking about. Between or before battles, there is NO icon to click so you can change your Gem sets. Which could very well be intentional on the Devs part... though I can't imagine why for the love of all that is holy... nm.
Anyway, hopefully that is a sufficient explanation. I will grab a screen shot in a bit to illustrate if I have yet again failed to explain what I'm asking about.

That's what it's talking about. No way to change that during battle selection except with a bug or maybe debug (though I have no clue how to do that there). I or someone else could probably make that clearer if it's really that confusing. There's no restriction in editing, last time I did. Though that was a little while ago.
Switching *in* combat is easy enough, just click on the Deck button before your first move/before your enemy makes the first move.

I think they want to change gems against the first strike monsters. I don't think you can, right?
