First Congratulations to MakingWaves for a very fun game that I have enjoyed immensely. (I like the new one too), TBH I have played through many times (especially before you added the gallery option). With my bona fides established, I have seen several times in this thread reference to a babysitter. At first I though it was just a reference to Christine but I suspect I was wrong. Can anyone point me to where I missed this character all together? Has my problem been I haven't restarted since she was added and I'm too far? I have started a new corruption run just in case (and because it's my favorite). Anyone have guidance?

Your aunt, Fiona, is defaulted to babysitter, much like how Jen is your "landlady."

Install the patch and rollback. You should make a save before the black screen and reload to avoid any further problems as well.

I managed to mess up the gym girl questline, I was too late to find the post that says that changing your fitness level with the console messes with the gym triggers, so I need help in fixing it. I need to either reset the whole questline to zero, or maybe somehow triggering the gym story event link in the bedroom might help?

Also, second question, about changing jobs; aren't you supposed to be able to do the criminal job after completing the office job and vice versa? According to the goals I have finished both the office jobs and the stripclub, but I can't figure out how to change jobs. Help would be much appreciated.

The strip club is the criminal job: Doing it before the office job has the MC doing some petty crime for a little while before landing at the club, whereas doing the office job first he skips straight to running the club.

Not sure if that's what you asked, though.

Huh, I was under the impression that there was a bigger difference in the game than that depending on the job you chose. So I’m guessing that if you chose criminal you get pushed into the office job pretty quickly like how you got put in the strip club? Thanks for clearing that up for me.

My first issue remains, though, I cannot advance in the gym girl goals since I messed up the triggers using the console.

Levelling you down might have fixed it.

I may not be MakingWaves but I really like Paradise Found. If you haven't played it give it a go.

Thank you glad you enjoyed it! I think you are correct that I said that at some point. Honestly though it's real hard for me to name a lot of the games that inspired this or were of similar concept. There were a bunch of translated russian games and such that had a sandbox setting, though they would be hard to recommend even if I could remember their names (I was playing them at least 5 years ago). L&V is really an amalgamation of refinements and influences from various games I played around the time, so not much really jumps out as being like L&V, if that's what you're looking for.

I can name a few, like The Company, Incubus City and College Daze, but you probably already know about those. Unfortunately a lot of games from back then are now either abandoned, or pretty well known. A few other similar games have popped up since then, like Masters of Raana, but I don't think the situation has really changed all that much. Probably with good reason; hooking people into a contemporary, down to earth game like this isn't easy. Most successful titles have some kind of spin.

I can't at this time give you an estimate on the next release. I'm not even sure yet if I am going to split the content into two smaller ones or not. But I definitely want to get the game in place for the endings within a few months.

I may not be MakingWaves but I really like Paradise Found. If you haven't played it give it a go.

Thanks for the reply. Tbh I havent played college daze yet. Will give that a try.

Wish you best of luck for the rest of the development. Cant wait to see what you come up with next. Really hoping to see more Lydia content - particularly the party scenes.
