I have no idea, I just shared the the new version when I got notified on discord, and I'm still quite early in the game myself (I got distracted playing other games recently).
Looking at the character profiles, under the hearts is a box which is where the next main events are. It will tell you what time of day you need to go to. If it says work in progress then you are caught up. On the right side of a profile will say the list of side events you can do with a girl and if they say "available" then its available XD but if you mean just knowing what characters have events there is a change log link on the main menu that will tell you what it is. I'll tell you for 0.9.3 it is Maxy and Galila.
It's the fact you need to look at each profile to see what is available. It would be nice to have a single screen/list of everything available. Also perhaps having events sorted so they would be grouped with "Event Available" then maybe "Event Unavailable" and so on.

Vast majority of sandbox's are grindy. Once you get going a bit you will earn more money by increasing the popularity of Barries. Also there is the cheat mod that solves that issue.
Okay, you need to improve your stats and improve the marketing for the cafe. Shower, go to the barber, do what you can to raise your charisma for waiting and the money will come flying in.
It is a bug. Finish the Christmas event and it will trigger.Why tf can't i find Cassandra at the bloody garden?!
You need to improve the popularity of the restaurant by doing the marketing option. If you notice when working serving has charisma and cooking is knowledge. If you improve more lets say charisma then the money you earn while serving will also increase too. Fitness improves fishing, but you will have multiple other ways to earn money too such as bets at the yorokobi or the bar upgrade, and maybe from other character interactions too if you complete more of the story. But also you don't need to get all the costumes right away. The journey takes a while so over time you will have more than enough lol. Also a little hint if you continue Sasha's story she will get the upgrade for you for free.
The game is insanely easy. You need to first market Barrie's a bunch of times (pick the option to go advertise for the restaurant, instead of the other options when you work in the morning) - that will massively increase your earnings. It will quickly get to a point where you have thousands and thousands of $ and nothing to spend it on. Don't bother fishing it's pretty pointless except when a quest requires fish for cooking with the French anal slut.
