Can someone enlighten me ? please ? how did we get from discussing the game inconsitecies to the suposed IQ of the Dev. ?
What is next discussing Pizza recipes ? (it's retorical, there is already a thread for that) :ROFLMAO:

Einstien never took an IQ test, if he had it would have been the deeply flawed Eisenk test (given the time period) which required cultural knowlege (such as the words to Good Ship Venus) and so often ranked very smart people that lacked deeply engrained culture much lower than it should. So there's a very strong chance Einstein would have had a lower IQ than you think
Sorry. I re-read my post and that is what I said, but not what I meant. The modern day IQ test is based on the estimated IQ of Einstein and sets the maximum score of 200. It's quite arbitrary, which is the real point I was trying to make... too funny to be funny, I guess. I knew a guy in high school whose IQ was not measurable. It was just some number greater than 200..., as if that makes any sense, either...

Still, Jubs! is getting good at this graphic art and animation stuff very quickly. Which was my real real point. :p

Nice catches. I can confirm all of them. I was going to go through the code and make note of them all to report, but you beat me to it. It's a great story, isn't it? I love the art and can't wait for the next update to see how much his animations have improved! I'm betting they will get rave reviews...
I also can't wait for update, I catch myself thinking about it then checking Patreon for updates or new Artwork.

I've spent the last week finishing off 0.3 and it's basically done now. A little bit of spit and polish this evening and then the early access release will be available tomorrow. This time I've let the proof reader do their thing on an early version, so there shouldn't be a litany of embarrassing spelling and grammar errors that are then latched out for this one.

Most of the last week was spent completing the animations and sound effects. The animation count went up significantly and I signed up to a new sound effects service to get access to more vocal effects as the selection I was using were probably starting to get a bit repetitive. I only did that about half way through adding in effects this time, so they start appearing later on in this update.

I think I can do the sex scenes sound effects better by actually adding the effects to the animations, rather than having renpy play them attached to a new speech line. I'll need to experiment a bit, but it's difficult because I don't know at what pace someone is going to read through these scenes and so don't know how best to position the sound effects so they don't fire off too quickly or too slowly.

Patch notes for 0.3 are as follows:

Added the 2nd Cartographer's Guild mission.

Fixed a crash related to skipping Isabella's romance content.

Fixed the max score counter for aberrant gnosis, Emelia, Lilly and Sarah being too high.

Added a correction in to make sure that the max score is set correctly for existing saves.

Updated the character galleries - added in character sheets and galleries for Saga, Felsia, Xanthe and Kaisa. These will unlock once you complete the missions that you encounter them in game. I also adjusted the position of the buttons to access character sheets for non-romanceable characters to the bottom row.

For these characters I created a new version of the character sheet, one that can I can easily update to add in lore and info, whereas previously the character sheets were all fixed images that I could not really update unless I edited and replaced the image. All the old characters are using the old format still, I intend to migrate them for 0.35.

Added in an explanation of the alignment system to the codex screen.

Fixed a few spelling and grammar errors.

The update stats are:

Approx 12500 words of story.

Approx 2200 lines of scripting.

56 sprites, 1 fixed image and 42 animations (approx 11.5 minutes) of Emelia added.

10 sprites and 1 animation of the player (there are several fixed images that he is also shown in).

10 sprites and 3 fixed images of Kaisa.

8 sprites and 2 animations of Xanthe.

11 sprites, 14 fixed images and 4 animations of minor characters.

25 backgrounds and 4 animated backgrounds.

A few preview images are included on this post. I'll add the early access link in a separate post tomorrow.

The free release of v 0.3 is in a few days and I've been working on 0.35 since the EA release came out last week. 0.35 will be two character events. One for Alice and one for Emelia. I've been generating all the images that I will use to make the sprites for Alice in the next update. These are a selection of SFW (technically, I wouldn't particularly recommend you view these at work though...) images that have been upscaled, had the artefacts around the faces tidied up and messed up hands fixed. As I only lift the character from the image, the background doesn't really matter. I will get the generator to put her into similar environment and conditions as will be in the game, this makes it easier to get the sprite to look right. These may or may not get used for the update. I have about 2500 images of her to pick from in the right outfits. If I do use them then I would remove the branding that sometimes appears on her sportswear. I've also added a very Baywatch style animation of Alice on the youtube channel:

I'm making progress on 0.35, which will primarily be two character events, one for Alice and one for Emelia.

Alice has been somewhat neglected so far, so this is a good opportunity for me to explore her character and the dynamic between her and the MC.

Emelia is obviously well represented so far, this event will be an opportunity for the MC to advance their relationship. My intention on including so much content based around her was to ensure that the content was satisfying. Rather than having lots of characters whose storylines creep along with not much happening, I want to go through stages of building one primary character so I can advance that content to a satisfying stage, before switching to the next character. So 0.30 is the last outing for the Cartographer's Guild for a little while. I will likely still include smaller character scenes with Emelia in the .x5 updates going forward, but she will generally be taking a back seat after 0.35, to give more space to others.

The next faction will be The Academy, and it's related to something that Alice is going to explain in 0.35. The Academy faction will involve working primarily with Lyra as the long term representative of that Faction. It will also see the MC also spending time with Alice and probably Heidi. There are a number of ways I can get Heidi involved in stuff and The Academy is certainly one of them. Bad things are happening in The Triumvirate and as the feeder of new talent into the Luminarian Government, The Academy and it's best students have become a target for the city's enemies.

I'll be adding some more content with Zara in as well. My intention is that each faction mission, after completion, will unlock a debriefing scene with her. These will be fairly short, but give you an opportunity to learn more about what she expects, what she is doing and what pressures she is facing. It will also unlock her character events, as you complete the debriefs and have opportunities to impress her, she will start to involve you more in what she is doing. This is where you can start to soften that frosty exterior of hers and should you so desire, charm the knickers off of her as well.

0.35 is mostly written, Alice's event is about 8000 words and has been fully scripted into the game. Emelia's is about 4000 words and I'll be completing the scripting in game for that this evening. That doesn't include the sex scene, which I will write once I've got the assets generated, so that will probably add another 1000 or so words to it. Depending on how long all this takes, I may have time to extend her scene to include a little bit more.

All of Alice's base image assets for creating sprites have been done, as have all of the non-sex related ones for Emelia. I'm working on the MC ones currently. Emelia's event will see the return of Vivian LaRoux, the clothes shop proprietor from Chapter 1. She's gone through an overhaul, so if I have time I'll probably redo her assets in chapter 1 as well. When I first created her I had real trouble getting any kind of consistency. I used a smart upscaler tool to 'paper over' the cracks. Unfortunately the result was that whilst she looked generally consistent, she didn't really look how I wanted her to (particularly as the 'smart' upscaler lightened her skin tone, which is not exactly ideal...). I let it go at the time because I wasn't sure I would revisit her character. Now that I am, she is getting a makeover, so some of these images are her new look.

There are a few images attached which are a selection from the assets I have generated over the last week.

I found a minor bug with the display of a couple of side images (for a character that hardly talks so it isn't a big impact). In the download file is a separate bug fix zip folder. If you copy the contents of that into the game folder and overwrite the files in there it will fix this issue.

Jubs! Am I wrong or there is something strange in her eyes?
It is like if her left eye is a little bit shifted up.
It's a combination of things. Her smirk means her mouth on her left side has dropped slightly, making the gap between it and her eye bigger, creating a little bit of an illusion that they are lopsided. That illusion is aided by the smirk also emphasising her cheek bone on the other side, adding more points of reference for your eye to track on that side, also making the gap appear bigger on the other side. You are correct though, that it is shifted up slightly, but its actually a very small shift, made to look bigger by the other stuff. But it's normal for human eyes to be slightly different heights to each other, it's actually very rare that they are ever exactly the same. Not that I deliberately crafted it to be like that, just that it will happen because it's trained on real faces and real faces aren't perfectly symmetrical.

Sometimes, particularly on close-ups, it makes the difference ludicrous; like total mutation weird difference in eye levels. It misunderstands what the limits of the difference should be. Had to delete a fair few monstrosities because of that!
