Okay, my thoughts so far. The game seems pretty damn amazing honestly, but given the high rating the game has I shouldn't really need to point out the obvious too much. The only feedback I have so far is minor, and I don't even know if the dev uses this forum so it might very well not be heard at all which is kinda eh I suppose. As I was saying though, I wish it was possible to re-name Alice to something else. I get that some authors/devs like that their character has a set name and I'm a firm believer in them having the right to do so, and I'll always support that decision if the author/dev sees it as part of their vision for the game. It just happens to be a strong preference of mine if I can give the protagonist my own first name, since it makes getting into the character, and by extension the game a lot easier for me. As I said, a relatively small piece of feedback that's likely to not be worth a ton.
On the note about the Instagram and picture thing, I'm neutral. Whether it's a catfish or not, it isn't unheard of that some hot people take up a hobby, passion or profession, that is typically associated with people who are stereotyped as being ugly or mediocre by societal standards. Doctor Mike (Completely unrelated to this scene obviously) had a video wherein he talked about this in regards to hot doctors and nurses, and it does show us that the world is fascinated by the prospect of hot people working in fields where they aren't expected to work because they could be models or actors or whatever. It's a pretty good watch to those that are interested in the point of view of a hot person, in terms of this debate about whether or not the dev is actually a hot woman or not. In terms of what she posts, that's honestly her business and I won't judge her for that at all. If she makes a good game, then to me that's really the only thing that matters in this discussion anyways, since we're all on this site to play good porn games. Her looking hot is just a plus to some people, which I do get to some extend, I just don't see why it should take such a mainstage when we're here for the game itself, not for the alleged appearance of the dev.
On a completely different side-note, the last scene with Sophie at the end of the game was both so incredibly sad, but also so unbelievably adorable and beautiful. I can already imagine how much loving your best friend can suck, let alone when that friend is of the same gender as you. Not only do you risk losing the friendship, or at the very least potentially making it incredibly awkward for a while (Or permanently in some cases I would imagine), you also risk outing yourself to someone who you might not always be sure about in terms of their view on homosexuality. That added last part has to make it so fucking terrifying, especially since the person might not only reject your feelings, but a part of you that is inherently such a deep part of who you are as a human being and person.
