Sadly there's nothing we can do about it, it's better to deal with it and enjoy the story nonetheless, as much as I liked the old art the new it's not bad imho.

well you can`t really blame them....i also could get into the game after the artwork changed though i wish him luck with the game
seems like it, I thought that was what was in the last version I played but oh well
If you were playing the Alpha version, this is the final and has one extra scene and a few extra pictures, and maybe more. I haven't played through it yet.
I think I was spoiled on the first artwork. I just can't get into this story anymore and it's depressing. The characters just look so plain, there's no passion left anymore. So, with that I'm out. Good luck with your project.

If he abandoned the game people would complain, they decided to continue with another artist, people aren't satisfied either.
I don't like remakes, but in his case, I understand that he had no choice. So we should forget the past art and focus on the new one and the story of the game that was an ok story untill the other guy quit.
i think it's more this update having almost nothing new that's the main issue for me.
I shouldnt be loading my save from last time and the game ends.
I think what bothers me most about the new art is how polished the old art was while the new art just looks.....unfinished? It's not bad per se, it just is rough around the edges compared to the original drawings.

I'll say this again... I think both artists are very talented. The original artists work was [searching for the right words] cleaner, more shiny, and I get why people like this. But the new artist is very expressive which I find helps communicate the emotions. I just don't get all the hate. Game on?
All subjective, but for me even the poses/facial expressions all just look way more natural. They did a phenomenal job making them look lifelike which for me made a huge difference when you compare it to art in other games. New art just looks bland and lifeless with poses and expressions. Guess it shouldn't be too shocking the old artist left as I think they were probably too talented for this type of project. Kinda like being too pretty for porn lmao

Well I wouldn't say they are at _fault_ but they certainly also made kind of a dickmove, since they always knew this would contain some explicit scenes. Suddenly making a fuss about not wanting to draw lewd scenes when they initially agreed to do so is unprofessional at best. So while the art certainly speaks of talent there is certainly no reason to praise the old artist as if they are Michelangelo.

instead of piece mealing the content with this redesign why not progress the story with the writing and let the art catch up later its what games like uni do
