I'm amazed that any of these games get consistent support from patrons, in many cases there are four month gaps between updates, four months for a few minutes. I've had people tell me its longer if you read the "writing", I'm far from a professor but it's not going to take me above a few seconds to read a line, besides for the most part the dialogue is pointless drivel.
I think some people forget that these creators are supplying a product, I don't want to be chummy with them I just want my product, I think people should telling them "take all time yoy need brother" and start saying "I want some porno-game escapism, where is it?". What I'm saying is half in jest, but I think patrons need to be more demanding nonetheless.

Really liked the old version, so thought I'd try the new one.

I'm one scene in and it's already difficult to continue. Turns out I played this game for the art and not the story. You could argue that Alice is more realistic now, but I prefer the incredibly hot, super model Alice from the original.

I mean, we went from this:
Alice Old.png

To this:
Alice New.png

This kinda sucks. It seems that this isn't the Devs fault, so best of luck to them, but it's really killed my interest.

It's amazing how many random people feel the need to tell the world they won't pirate a certain porn game anymore. Thanks for letting us know, much appreciated. Good luck, hope you find elsewhere the joy you seek and deserve.
Meanwhile Redloly have been regaining their patrons and earnings over the last six months. Nice to see that even if this place serves as a starter for advertising games they break free after some level.

Well, piracy has its benefits, especially in this genre.
Me, for example, I buy every game I really enjoy on itch.io or Steam if the option exist(Like Chasing Sunsets) or subscribe to their Patreon for 2-4 months to give them some enz(Like I do with Eva Kiss from time to time).
I definitely will not be doing that with this dev because of her lack of ethics and responsibility(not because of the art).

Even more amazing than the entitled people bitching about things that cannot be changed are the judgmental people willing to toss out character slurs in complete ignorance of the actual character of their targets.

Frankly, I'd rather listen to the entitled brats. I can at least potentially sympathize with them. Judgmental people just suck.

Being judgmental is better than being an ass-kisser, especially for people who don't deserve it.

Worst is how much they feel forced to keep checking the game, downloading it and complaining about it lol. They want the dev to stop developing the game. I think if they could, they would go to his house and break his computer.

I feel like these are internet people that the mom gives them everything and they don't know how to deal with loss or not having something they want, the way they want.

I don't think I have downloaded the game once, since the new artist. because I am not interested fow now. Since it is just a remake so far, doesn't bring anything new. And if it takes 2 years to get to the point where I'd give it a try, it is not like it will have any impact on my life. So why will I bother if the dev wants to keep developing his game, with the quality and new artist he chose and if people want to support his project?

But these people are all getting butthurt about the dev moving on with his project.

If, as you note, you don't deserve to be an ass-kisser, then go ahead and be judgemental if that's all you can do. Just keep silent about it.

Hey guys!

During these weeks since the launch of the C2R_Final we have been working on setting everything about the new C3R. The reworked version has been adding characters and paths and every new chapter has even more new added content to have in mind.

And, at the same time, some of the original scenes of C2 are being changed. Do you remember the shower scene? We've been working on expanding the number of illustrations of it and tomorrow you will see a bit on a new Art process post.
About the art, Fausto has been working in that scene and in two new backgrounds, and he keeps on it. What about me? I've been working on a new scene I been wanting to do for a long time, and I know you'll want to play it too.
The remake has given me the opportunity to open new paths and be able to work more with some characters, and thus, C3R has become the perfect environment to write more about Lei. And, frankly, I love writing her.
As you see, we started working without all the planning finished. It is because I'm thinking about changing some of the UI and searching a way to improve the sprites and the way we are programming them.

Also, I'm thinking to do a poll about if you'd rather have shorter but more frequent chapters, or if you want us to keep them as they are now. And if you preferred the versions of the chapters named after numbers (C2.1) or as now (C2_Final). Your opinion is important to us and we want to take it into consideration.

Have a good week, you all!

PS: We are going to revamp the way our progress bars reflect how much work we've made and how much is left. So expect some weird changes in a few weeks.

Oh thank goodness. I was worried that we wouldn't get any significant Lei scenes until chapter 4/5 like in the old version.

If the developer is going to produce releases the same way she does now, I greatly prefer the Alpha, Beta, Final scheme, because that lets me know when to actually download and play the game. I don't want to download a half-finished release. If she was going to actually only release a product that contained all planned content and had been beta-tested, then it wouldn't matter to me how the versioning scheme was labeled. I seriously doubt, however, that this developer will ever change the way she delivers this game. So, my vote, if I had one, is to keep the versioning scheme the way it is.
