I really don't understand this game's development.

First we had a promising game with some reliable updates. Then all of a sudden there was the artist on a "porn strike", which is strangely emough when working on a porn game in the first place. But well, shit happens. We all expected the game to become abandoned, but the developer found a replacement artist, which is seriously commendable. Now the waiting started for the game to be redone with new graphics, which should be just a matter of weeks since the story and the art already existed up to chapter 5. But that didn't happen. Instead we got an "improved" remake which actually fell way behind the original one. And now there is basically a deadlock for months.

IMHO that game is done. :cautious:

Hi guys,
I'm sorry I've been more absent than I should be around here. When my head is at work, it is very difficult for me to find the moment or the way to write around here. But hey, I'll make a post talking about it, now let's talk about what matters to you: the release of C3.

C3 will be released tomorrow, Monday the 12th. The cause of the delay is that once our proofreader bugtested the chapter (thanks Tom!) we realized that the chapter had points that could be improved. We've added some more images, a couple of point and clicks, two explicit animations, more sprite versions, more text variables...
Everything we have seen necessary to give you the best version of the chapter.
In addition, with these three chapters we have been adding new content and also rearranging the old one, and with that we have achieved that in the next chapter, C4, the story of LC will reach the point of the old version in its entirety.
Thank you for your patience and I hope that when you play C3 tomorrow you will see that it was worth it.

So we're still lacking behind the old LC5 version storywise. And why? Because of proofreading? Yeah, sure... It's almost 1.5 years now to catch up to the original version. Not that I am ungrateful for the upcoming update. Kudos for that! But still lacking behind storywise? I feel almost reminded of the "Lust and Power" remake.

But well, as a f95zone pirate I am probably not really entitled to those kind of complaints. But I do wonder what the patreons have to say in that matter...

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that the Chapter 3 remake is getting released tomorrow. That last status update that was posted left me feeling like we were a month or more out.

This new chapter is loaded with many new scenes, more point and clicks and the first animations in LC scenes.

I could number the sprites, backgrounds, number of illustrations... But the truth is that you will get a better idea by playing it yourself. We have put a lot of effort into it and even though it's an alpha (I remind you that it may have bugs) we believe that you will not find anything that crashes or anything too serious.

We are very happy with the result and we believe that together with chapter 1 and 2, C3 fully shows the type of video game that Fausto and I can make. We have taken great care of the details, the aesthetics and the game dynamics, as well as the character design and I hope you can enjoy it.

As always, the Beta version will be available in a week, with an extra scene and some more illustrations, apart from having the gallery implemented.

Any comment or proposal that you have after playing it, you can discuss it with me through the Early_birds discord channel and we will take it into account for the Beta or the Final.
