In this game I like the touch of reality when it comes to interactions, relationships and conversations. You described the Incel driven fantasy of 99% of all games in here.It is wrong approach though... at least for me. -Normal- Men like it when female MCs are shy and untouched (true virgin) at the beginning and we enjoy turning them into biggest whores of existence.
I completely agree with you on this one, it's crazy how many cringe or toxic comments are coming from sexually frustrated, insecure guys with very often mysogynistic and/or bordeline behavior. I get the impression that the incel crowd is over-represented here, just look at the number of games that are very, very vanilla in terms of sex; or super cliché and conservative when it comes to depicting relationships between people. I've also lost count of the number of projects that initially set out to be very wide-ranging in terms of sexual fetishes, sexual relationships or the option of forming sentimental relationships outside the norm, but which inevitably end up backtracking under the pressure of a host of toxic incels. Every time, these people plead for harmful, clichéd relationships, where the man in the couple dominates his partner, with conjugal exclusivity, sexual relations always geared to his sole benefit, and so on.In this game I like the touch of reality when it comes to interactions, relationships and conversations. "NORMAL MEN"
No, not in the slightest.
Last version here was C3 beta or alpha, so no new content if you played that. This is the final C3 versionIs there new content? I reloaded my last save, ended up running into the end/patreon screen. Just them heading off to respective beds after watching the not-Peaky Blinders.
Or is this one of those have to start over at the beginning type updates?
New artist. The old one denied permission to use the art.Damn, why did the artstyle change? I thought the realistic artwork looked great before.
Because the original artist, Javier, bailed on the project leaving Red in the lurch stating that he felt "uncomfortable" creating sexually explicit scenes... for a porn-focused game! I'm sure there were other issues behind the scenes such as prohibitive royalties to keep his art in the game while not working on the project. (Though Red states that they ultimately parted ways amicably.) And last I checked, it's hilarious that Javier continues to claim he is a co-creator for this active project on his professional resume which, intentional or not, misleads others into thinking he still has an active role in its artistic development.Damn, why did the artstyle change? this is cap, or cope? Also, a round of applause to the current artist whose art style is really good!
So take the change of artists as a positive note.
I'm assuming that the developer played with open cards right from the start. Anything else would have been stupid. So the artist knew from the beginning what he was getting himself into. And jumping off a project afterwards because he felt "uncomfortable" is not professional, it's childish. A contract would have existed in the freen economy. and breaking it can be expensive. And a professional artist certainly cannot afford a reputation for being unreliable. He certainly didn't do himself any favors with it.I doubt she misled him, it's more likely that the more explicit content was more popular (because of course it is), and it just escalated to scenes that he wasn't comfortable with - especially if he's a professional artist, which he likely is, he wouldn't have wanted his professional name to be associated with porn.
What might have happened was that the artist was more comfortable drawing scenes with a more artistic nude feel like with live models or games with nudity but no actual sexual content while the dev leaned more into explicit sexual acts and the artist got a bit uncomfortable with how hardcore the action was/going to be in the future.I'm assuming that the developer played with open cards right from the start. The art itself is pretty good and the artist is talented I don't think that can be denied. Whether it fits into this game or if it lives up to the great art that it's replacing is a different argument.this is cap, or cope?
No need to pretend. Old sprites straddled the uncanney valley for me, the old artist quitting has reinvigorated my interest in this game. The new art is miles behind the old art for anyone that has the benefit of working eyes. The old one was the best in the genre and not a single game with similar artstyle comes even close. Its unfortunate how things turned out, but we don't have to pretend that everything is peaches, it is what it is.
I agree that the previous art was vastly superior and it was what initially caught my interest because it was one of if not the best art I've ever seen for a VN.The new art is miles behind the old art for anyone that has the benefit of working eyes.
