Overview:
Hi everyone, I'm Sonpih, and I'm creating an adult game called Lust for Adventure, this is a 2D RPG game based on the world of Warcraft where you are an adventurer in search of fame, fortune and obviously sex!
The inspiration for this game came from other adult games like "Corruption of Champions" or "Trials in Tainted Space", games where you have a sense of freedom in a world of monsters and sex.
In this game you can create a character with some customisation options, complete quests for NPCs, fight (or fuck) different enemies in turn-based combat, and experience multiple events.

Cool to see one of these games with a Warcraft theme. Has a nice look to it as well.
Personally, I'd like to see a manual save system. When I play CoC or TiTS, I always quit and reload if I reach a point where I get raped, especially if it's gay content, as I avoid that whenever possible. It becomes unavoidable with automatic saves. But, hey, if that's not what this game is about, then that's fair. I might not keep on with it if that's the case, though.

Side note - the lust gain seems kind of ridiculous? Pretty much can't make it through two fights consecutively without resting between because if they happen to spam lust, you'll be fucked. Literally. It's not that high in CoC, IIRC.

If you try to create a Hero without entering a name you don't get a warning or any indication + name field is not very visible.
Heroic Strike takes all your Mana but deals the same amount of dmg regardless ...

Well, so far the game looks quite promising. Personally I prefer drawn art over 3D art, but the art isn't bad, so nevermind.
Are you going to implement different races for the player too? Or transformation elements?
Also will there be a skill tree of some sort? Or a leveling system? Or are you only gonna be able to raise your stats by getting better equipment?

W
W private servers that's a whole different level , blizzard will not even look in the direction of this unknown game
They did screw over playwatch magazine for the simple fact that they didn't want to be associated with this kind of stuff, like they are the first and only to do so...yeah sure...
i wouldn't be too sure about that. granted it happened years ago (don't remember when exactly), i once played an idle/incremental game (i think it was called grindcraft or something similar) that used WoW assets and it eventually got a DMCA from...activision iirc..

that said, i haven't played or looked into WoW all that much since i stopped playing back when the lich king expansion was released but i doubt they're quite as DMCA/lawsuit happy as nintendo when it comes to fan game related content.

nintendo... let's just say people are better off avoiding making fan...anything based on their games. heck, they even went so far as to DMCA rom sites to try and leave people no choice but to buy their emulators (the nes and snes mini consoles) instead of emulating the games for free. and on top of that, the super mario bros. game they had on the nes mini was later discovered to be an actual ROM downloaded off the internet just to be sold back to people!

so...yeah. kinda killed any lingering support i had for that company both with that and the whole anti-fan activities they've been doing these past several years.

reread my comment at
Idk much about grindquest
yea nintendo goes witchhunting for porn fanart , can't blame them they are family friendly company
private servers will always fall on the radars ... and thats stealing/borrowing a whole game not just 1 or few assets
"unknown game" is self explanatory at this point
The anti-fan part is questionable

no, nintendo's anti-fan stance isn't questionable at all.

AM2R, a metroid 2 fan remake. DMCA
iirc there was a Super Mario 64 remake being made with unity or something years ago...queue the DMCA.
probably other fan games i've seen get DMCA'd before as well.

fair use means nothing to them when it comes to streaming any content from any of their games. iirc most people now avoid streaming or just using any content from their games on youtube now out of fear of copyright claims. and that's monetized video or not.

and i think i saw someone mention something about nintendo having purchased the license for a porn game (or was it a video?) starring...i think some mario characters just so it wouldn't go public not long ago.

o_O nintendo ain't nearly as innocent as some may assume.

and regarding porn fanart...no... if my collection of koopa pics are anything to go by (which can still be found at the sites i downloaded them from), nintendo doesn't go witch hunting for porn all that much. that video or whatever it was was probably an odd case. or involved irl people...or something

All of this anti-fan art history is fun and all (maybe we can request a new thread for it if need be). But has anyone solved the mystery of wether the 2nd hearts for the priest and letherworker are unlockable or not? I just find it weird they are displayed if they aren't accessable.

There is a button next to rest that resets lust. Took me quite a while to notice it

Big potential in this one if the dev takes it through!
The WoW models should make content pretty easy to make.

you can be a fan without stealing intellectual property :)

Many compagnies like SEGA doesn't care because that one of the rare way for their character to stay alive.
Nintendo characters are still extremely popular and Nintendo is still making games with them.

that is pure bullshit! do have even the slightest idea of how much of video game history would be purged from existence by the big companies were it not for the efforts of collectors and those of us who collect and emulate old titles?

let me put it this way:

take a good look at those 3 lists i made.

for the genesis mini console, sega tried to DMCA and eradicate all of the US versions of the games listed.

for the NES mini console, nintendo tried to DMCA and eradicate every single ROM (regardless of region version) of the games listed.

for the SNES mini console, nintendo went a step further and DMCA'd the entire FRANCHISE of each game on the mini consoles. (for the mega man franchise alone, that's over 50 games that could've been lost)

why did they do this? to leave people with no choice but to pay them to emulate a tiny miniscule fraction of the games they tried to erase.

it is fans and collectors that keep these old games and consoles/handhelds from being wiped from existence by the big companies. those companies that once produced these games don't care in the slightest unless the games make them more money in some way.

actually, there's currently a number of video game preservation organizations and museums in a legal battle with the ESA to try and revive and preserve currently dead online games like MMOs. take a wild guess why the ESA and the big game companies don't want this to happen.....

because reviving these old games means potential competition for the newer games. which, with loot boxes and microtransactions currently plaguing the industry, would be a major threat to the newer crappier titles.

"you can be a fan without stealing intellectual property"

as for any anti-piracy comments... take them and shove 'em. cuz if it weren't for emulation supporting pirates out there, we'd probably be short about 20-40k+ video games right now (if you count the insanely large collection of MAME arcade ROMs out there).

edit: actually (and i likely need to go and update my copy of it again since i rarely bother to do so), as of version...MAMEUI64 0.188.A Aug 3 2017... there were (likely many more now) 34, 497 titles listed in MAME.

granted, the majority of those are simply different versions and revisions and whatnot of the "parent" ROMs but that's still a vast amount of games and that's just arcade games alone.
