Unity Lust for Adventure [v9.3] [Sonpih]
This isn't a text based game; it's an illustrated, even animated game. You don't read a description of an area, you see a picture of it. You don't read the results of your attacks, you see them played out with sprites. You don't read about your character transformations (tauren/worgen/haircut/skin colour), you see them in the character model. This is an image based game, and when it first launched it had dramatically less text in the sex scenes, which was good because as much as I appreciate the developer for all the hard work he puts in, he is not very good at writing erotica. A better compromise would be to go back to the earlier system in which all the text was presented at once and you only had to click once to get rid of it.You might be able to understand when you have played more game.
...... or maybe not, if you can't read. Then why are you even playing a "text-based" game?
If you only skip to see sex scenes, it will become super stale since there's only so much you can do with animations / CGs.
What's the difference than seeing porn videos at that point?
It's not about you, it's about the game in general.
Also I'm not sure what you meant by "when you have played more game" but I've been playing games since the 90's and I've played actual text-based MUDs, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Not to mention your strawman argument is not even the point. (Hint: We were talking about the quality, what makes a game good, NOT your identification of words)
Also, TF is "image based game"? You know who read picture books? 4-8 Years Old who can't read text

In fact, LfA stands out mainly because its amazing arts and animations, as a Text-based game.
But Sonpih should be cautious of the priority, neglect what the game really is, will be the downfall of it.

Am I to understand, then, that your definition of a text based game is a game that has any text in it? Is Skyrim a text based game, since every so often you have to read quest text?
I'm making a simple distinction between games in which information is delivered by text ("he ran away," "she picked up the sword," "they won the fight") and games in which information is delivered visually, by image or animation. And my argument is that the game's primary method of delivering information is visual, particularly during the sex scenes, ergo that the written descriptions should be used to support the animation, not supplant it.
It is possible to use written descriptions to enhance an animated scene, particularly in cases such as these in which there is no spoken dialogue, but Sonpih does not use limited writing to frame the animation, he writes an entire scene as though the animation wasn't there. It's repetitive, redundant and boring to see your character fuck a bandit and then also read the exact same thing.
Finally, I repeat the point that I support Sonpih and enjoy his work, but he is not a good erotic writer. Even if this were a true text-based game with no images at all, his writing just isn't imaginative or horny enough to hold my attention. I read porn on a fairly regular basis, I know what good porn writing is, and I'm sorry to say that this is not it. If it was good porn writing then I might agree with you that there is a place for it in the game, but it's boring writing, which is so much worse than bad writing.
Edit: I realise that Sonpih's first language is not English, and that he therefore works at a disadvantage. His technical grasp of the language is, I think, very good. He just lacks the nuance to express the difference between an erotic scene and a list of sex acts.

I'll say it again. I understand the conventions of zharna and if you need to depict something feminine, it’s within the conventions, then no problem. It was just scary
Maybe Sonpih needs help? He makes the game alone and doesn’t ask for money for it.
It is clearly difficult for him to express thoughts in a foreign language. So maybe this is a reason to lend a helping hand?
There are not many scenes if you divide them into the entire community, except for those for whom English is not their native language.

Isn't that the scene where he's begging to be fucked at the river? After you've progressed pretty far along with the bimbo potions?
If I were to make a suggestion to Sonpih, it wouldn't be to get community help. That would just require him to take on more editing, it'd likely mean even more work. No, I think it would be better to just reduce the amount of writing per scene. A bit of setup, a bit of description to frame the scene (e.g. if positions change then how you got there, if clothing changes then how quickly or roughly that happens), a little dialogue and then an ending. Less work for him, less repetition for us, more room for building the scene ourselves. Win-win-win.
Not that I expect this to happen, he seems happy writing way too much for each scene. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What does it matter? Wherever this face appears, it does not become prettier. It just scares me.
But this is my personal opinion, and not criticism of the author. He's an artist, that's how he sees it
SHIT, the next dragon update will be HOT.

Even tho the dragons' models are kinda bad, the feels are still on point.

I'm not keen on them either, as it's not my "thing" ... but I'm certain that they've been a neglected demographic for so long.. they kind of deserve some representation.
If we start taking into account all groups, multiply them by all nationalities, multiply all this by sexual preferences and multiply by 154 or 180 genders (they are multiplying at a tremendous speed) then... Then it is appropriate to turn on the imagination of how all this can end.
But many of those listed do not have any reflection at all in popular culture.
Remember that companies that tried not to offend anyone ended up offending everyone.
On the other hand, no one bothers you to delete the game and forget about it.
So that my words are not regarded as pressure on the author. In the future I will proceed from this concept
(if you don’t like it, delete it).
