It is not a spectrum of gay, and it is in no way the equivalent of real-world transgender. The debate on this has been run a thousand times. The data is clear. People who are into trans are not necessarily into futa and vice versa. If YOU feel that futas are too close to real-world trans, that's a valid point of view, but it is far from universal. Different people appreciate the same things for different reasons, and vice versa.
Futa girl is always been there. The only difference between the old plot and this one, is that it's not directly avoidable since the very beginning, but she became a futa because of a magic spell. In the next updates you'll have the chance to get her normal again if you want to. Basically now she has a lil bit of better context to be like this, and not just because it's cool. You can let players enter what relationships they want and make a vague backstory, nothing on Patreon prevents you from doing that. There are literally hundreds of games that work that way that are in no danger of breaking ToS.
Wrong. Patreon ToS became really strict over the last year, and it doesn't allow what you wrote above. If there are hundreds of games doing so, it doesn't mean that this doesn't break patreon ToS and they're out of risks.
And yet there's always a constant debate on the "new tags" thread where futa enjoyers argue adamantly about splitting the "futa/trans" tag into just "futanari" and have a separate tag for trans, because, again, they're completely different things. People have been interested in futanari long before they even knew trans people existed, and remain interested in futanari while having absolutely no interest in trans people.
