I think it means that the reason for the extra day are the animations and that they will be included in S1E10.Were those 9 missing animations left out due to lack of time and will they be included in a later build?

This update was originally just a bug and dialog update, but apparently changed into a full blown content update, and a big one at that so I'm good with the wait. Can't wait til tomorrow.

Probably the most asked question since the launch of S2E1. S1E10 as previously stated a few comments above yours, it was supposed to be a bug/animation/voice update but a few additional content was added in for good measure. I think the purpose of S1E10 is to get the S1 ready as a Steam game release. These additional content will probably be non-canon in my opinion considering the S2E1 recap and continuation.

S2E1 is just a teaser new "day", linear, without the semblance of a sandbox (which I personally don't like in S1).
Next, S2E2, everything will go on a knurled, according to the new looping day presented in S2E1.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the extended finale of S1

It depends on what time whichever Patreon who decides to upload it to here might not upload it today but I hazard a guess it be in the next 12 hours the release on Patreon.
Quick Edit: If I remember correctly they are based in Croatia whats +1 hour ahead of us in the UK and the current time here of this edit is 12:05 pm so will be 13:05 over there.
