What on earth are you talking about? That'll never happen since they are pretty obviously a landlady and her tenant.Damn it!! I so wanted that mother daughter threesome.
I came back after a long time and really slowed down and read through the new writing. I was really blown away at the depth of the relationship building. I think you've done a fantastic job. The premise is too complex and there's too much baggage to satisfy everyone's theories about the mechanics of the story. But the mechanics of a time loop are so much less important than how the story handles the relationship development. So I think you've emphasized the right things here. There's some real writing talent on display in season 3.As the new writer who took over the story development and writing for Season 3, I hope you will give it a go. As others have stated previously, some decisions and narrative choices might come over a bit contrived, but I have done my uttermost to make Season 3 the best I can, and really hope I am honoring the best parts of the series to date, while also contributing something new and fresh, breaking new ground with the characters and story. I can't guarantee it will be to your taste, still if you are on the fence and need a little nudge, I'd urge you to look back over the recent reviews and comments since I took over. They should give you some idea of the public sentiment and opinion since I took on the writing.
LOL the scene after they get Jeff when they're sitting on the couch and Liz comes in yelling at them all worried. I thought that was going to get spicy or at least hoped so!What on earth are you talking about? That'll never happen since they are pretty obviously a landlady and her tenant.
That being said, still some road left to travel in the game. Who knows what might still happen to Landlady and Unrelated Female Roommate 1? *Mysterious noises of mystery sound mysteriously.*
I love a wholesome love story between a landlady, tenant, and roommates! What on earth are you talking about? That'll never happen since they are pretty obviously a landlady and her tenant.

I was reflecting on my earlier post on this, and yeah, S1 was chaotic fun, it was like playing a game on god mode. Sure, it can be fun for the lulz, but with no lasting consequences, eventually you will run out of one upping whatever over-the-top scenario of the week the devs come up with.Heh I find that S3 is more interesting than S2 (at least imho) because it was so confusing and everything went nuts for the wrong reasons.
At least with S3, we can see the consequences and weigh in which girl or group of girls the MC wanna salvage. Some will be easier with time (like Eliz and Jessica), others you don't have nothing to worry about (Sophia, Amy because you can plan to help them later on and they don't have a beef against you) and some are problematic (the besties duo and the crazy blonde).
Anyways like I said previously : a good storytelling should not be able to solve all those issues unless some random "manga/anime" happens with the power of friendship and other BS.
So for the moment quite content with the storytelling.

S3 now has the weight of those consequences to navigate, and has the sense that there are actual stakes involved.
S2, well, while it sorta went off the rails, i guess it was needed to set the stage for S3.
S3 was planned,i was a patron back then.dev said lust theory would have 3 seasons since the start of season 2.
yes . the only NTR is bonus scenes in season 2Is NTR avoidable?
For accuracy's sake, it should be pointed out that that plot thread from Season 2 was retconned/fixed by the same writer, not the current one. When the new writer joined the project, the intro and a little bit more after that had already been made. It's probable the back tracking and backlash kinda killed the old writer's interest in the project but that's just speculation on my part, they still designed the premise from this game.1. In my opinion - but it's just my guess, I'm not an insider - Season 2 should have been the final season in Inceton's original intentions, but the pledger on Patreon were disappointed by its crappy ending and voted massively to have a Season 3 to fix it.
By then, the new writer taking on Season 3 was stuck in a situation a lot like what the fictional writer Paul Sheldon faces inYou must be registered to see the links: he had to come up with some quick narrative fixes that weren’t exactly built into the story from the start. In other words, don’t expect the twist from “it was all a simulation” to “no, the AI actually lied and it all happened in the real world” to feel perfectly smooth or logically airtight—it’s a bit clunky, and that’s understandable.
But here’s the thing: when you’re forced to “fix” a finale that the audience hated, you’re basically cornered into taking these kinds of liberties. It’s not new—Collodi did it with Pinocchio, which was originally supposed to end with the protagonist hanged, but angry readers wouldn’t have it, so he brought him back to life by revealing that the dead girl was actually a fairy. Dallas did something similar when they lost viewers after Bobby Ewing’s death—they simply stated that the entire previous season was “all a dream” and brought him back. Sometimes storytelling demands a bit of improvisation when reality (or fandom) intervenes.
Let's say that the plot twist from simulation to reality is as smooth as it could be, considering it wasn’t planned in advance.
2. Well... basically what I wrote in the "Heavier spoiler" here, plus the MC growing more mature and trying to fix things with all the girls who turned out to be disappointed/damaged by his reckless behavior after the time moved forward by one day.
3. I won't spoil that much. Also, since you don’t use spoiler tags when replying to mine, I don’t want other readers accidentally seeing something that could ruin their experience.
Well... that makes things even worse. If S3 was planned since the beginning of S2, then the finale of S2 makes even less sense, IMHO.
Why cornering themselves into that cul-de-sac if they wanted to continue the story?

Anyway, at least we are having a more meaningful story in S3. Let's enjoy the present!![]()
That would be an interesting thing to discover, if any other reader knows... Now I'm curious about it.S2 literally ends on a developer note telling you the whole simulation thing is not true and that you should play the third game to know the truth, but I wasn't there long enough to know if this was added post-launch to avoid backlash or what.
Jessica "easier"? I don't know....At least with S3, we can see the consequences and weigh in which girl or group of girls the MC wanna salvage. Some will be easier with time (like Eliz and Jessica)...
