Regarding the saves, I've deleted the game given what I told you before, so I can't help you.

Like already stated in that post, there's a memory room (in the bedroom, if I remember correctly) where you can see all the previous scenes, so load the last one and try. There is also a walkthrough posted in OP (post #1) if you need it.
