Okay, so I read through all the comments and thought to myself, "It's just a gay furry porn game, how many issues can it possibly have?"
Some negatives:
- First off, I have no idea why this needs to utilize Unity, outside of just trying to pretty it up. The 3D dungeon environments add very little to the game itself outside of actively slowing it down.
- Next up, it's kind of crazy how poorly optimized this game is. It's something that's very likely the Unity engine's fault, but still, even on a higher-end computer, this game runs slow. Considering how simple the mechanics of this game are, I see no reason why this couldn't have been done with an entirely different, much smoother-running engine. That opening loading screen alone is just flat-out ridiculous; that's the kind of loading time that could easily be described as a "sandwich break".
- And, of course, like everyone else here I really have to beg the question as to why the developer decided to go with the "always online" route for their gay furry RPG. That's just mind-boggling. Considering how specific the demographic for this is, I can't imagine that piracy is as huge of an issue for them as this programming decision would like to make it appear to be. All it really does is slow the experience down even further, an issue that the game already struggles greatly with.
Some positives:
- The art is great. I'm definitely what you would call a submissive kinda guy, so all of the "daddy" type artwork really works for me. I dig it.
- The music ain't bad. It doesn't get grating on the ears super fast, at least in my opinion.
- The Darkest Dungeon style combat isn't annoying to me, I'm rather fond of it. I blame the slow pace of combat more on the engine than I do the specific style that they chose to pursue.
- The dialogue appears to be fairly well-written. Humorous when it wants to be and sexy when it needs to be. There were a few spelling and grammatical errors, but name a porn game that has none and I will respond by calling you a liar xD
- The sex scenes that I did make it far enough to see were pretty nice and just as well-written as the dialogue.
Considering the amount of work that's already gone into this game, I can see this project going somewhere. However, with the issues currently present here, I cannot in good faith recommend this game.
