I'm gonna add, if you don't have enough love points (which is likely if you saved Bernard, not Logan), you can just use a save editor and have the best of both worlds like I did. Just find Logan's love count and change the number by a SINGLE digit. Don't boost it to like 200, it might crash the game or block you out of future content if it glitches the system.

Prisoner would make sense tbh, but I have a feeling they are leading up to him either being the last boss or the next major one. It's taking too long for Hyao to get to the point though...
He's got a lot on his plate and the story is very diverse, so it will take time. Hyao cannot satisfy 100% of his fan base at once. For this update, I like how we can rematch Gunnar. However, we need to have real option to put him in his place. Once you beat him and top him, his romance route is gone with a black heart, but nothing really changes. He is still the same asshole. Even when you try to romance him and be nice or sub, Gunnar is still a asshole.

It's alright as a pastime but it could have been so much more if Hyao actually had the imagination and drive to evolve it. He should of changed to RPGMaker or Unity and made it a real RPG instead of text based and considering ZoroJ is really doing the heavy lifting you'd expect more. Plus with the amount he's making on Patreon he could hire help... Instead he's basically stealing fan ideas because it's free...
He isn't stealing he credit all of them and they wanted theor stories to be in the game and no one know if he's paying his guest writers

Sexual. You gotta tease the Red Orc Beast in the Wasteland till he's hard. If your sanity is low, your character will immediately submit to the smell of his cum and be fucked, then fucked while walking to the Orc tribe, before being used by the entire tribe and their mounts.

RPG Maker is a bitch to use and Unity is very hard to learn, more so to optimise and perfect. Plus, both cost a shit ton of money (Unity is like £80, RPGMaker can be £100+ if you buy the packs) unless you hand-craft everything, which involves pixel art (hard) or Blender/3DMaya work (both are complex, one is costly to buy, £60 I think). Believe me, Renpy is the "easiest" of the lot and even then it's a shit shoot at the best of times. Just implementing the combat system alone in the style he did is at least 300 lines of code, plus then you've got stats and gender, position, sexuality, experience... Dating sims are the easiest Renpy game to code, it's most just basic flags, calculations and transitions, but coding RPGs in Renpy is hell, never mind timers, mini-games, temporary stat boosts, status effects, it's insane. The slightest change, a single character that's out of places like "Hello" instead of "hello", and your game self-destructs. It's fragile and upgrading or improving often involves complete overhauls of the entire code.
He's just doing what he can do best with what he can do. It's easy to complain but it's far harder to make porn games than you think, regardless of the format it's in.
