VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Mad World [Release 4.1.0 WIP] [Smoke Mob Games]

Now this is a fantastic game, the beginning seems a bit confusing... but the unfolding of history is so natural... and the characters are extremely catchy, as much in appearance as in plot.

I don't usually write reviews, but this game deserves it.

A fantastic and gripping story, it's a must play if you have time on your hands, and It left me wanting more. All of the characters are unique and interesting, and the sense of mystery the story provokes it what I look for in a good book.

This one of the most amazing VN I ever played it has all from humor, good story, beautiful renders, but what amazed me more is the story its fcking great. thumbs up to the writer and developer keep it up, homie.

Interesting story, very good writing, interesting and endearing characters (including MC) with depth and flaws. The thread header image might make you worry that it is a brainless harem game, but it is not! There are even interesting male characters other than the MC. The same image might make you hope that the game might be weird in a good way, and it is!

Good arts, no ridiculous anatomical monstrosities, several good lewd scenes (relatively sparse, but this is fine with me and fits the game perfectly)

Pretty nice story so far, interesting characters and doesn't feel rushed. One of the best games I played in a while. Renders are pretty nice and the models are also great. There's nothing I'd change about it and the only bad thing I found was the ending screen telling me to wait for the next update, jokes aside I don't see anything wrong with the game so far.

I like the positive vibe from the MC. Slow steps with Roberta. And an interesting fantasy story around, not only erotic, followed by porn, followed by more porn. Like the story reading as well. Really good game. Looking forward to next update.

I don't even know where to start but this game cast a spell over me.
First of all, the main character of the story is believable and you can empathize with him, he is sympathetic and has his own strengths and weaknesses, so he looks like a real human being with a soul. Incidentally, the same can be said for most of the other characters.
Some here criticize that the protagonist is a failure or a wimp, but I didn't feel that way at all, on the contrary, because he is there when his friends need him, he can be relied on.

The plot begins mysteriously and one is literally drawn into the world full of magic and secrets piece by piece and you really want to learn more.
The author's approach is interesting because he illuminates the background and stories of his plot through different perspectives and flashbacks.

Now the sex scenes, the few that I've seen so far, weren't too blatant and more of the lighter kind, which is a plus for me.

Visually the game is varied and the characters all look very individual and realistic, but the quality of the render does not always seem to be equally good from scene to scene.

The characters don't have voices, but that doesn't bother me very much. Every now and then there is musical accompaniment, which I mostly liked very much (especially the piano), but I would like more sounds and music itself.

One of the good games that I've played. Totally underrated. Loving the MC and loving the character, Vincent. Dude is straight up a bro if he decided to help you out. Not to mentioned the relationship between the MC and Robbie is really good. I am eager for the next update.

I'm surprised how much I loved this game. Characters are really cute, well written and compelling. The world and story is mysterious and interesting. I especially enjoy how the game uses flashbacks and different perspectives to reveal pieces of the characters' different backstories. The sex scenes are also really well done and hot, without being over the top.

Didn't know what to expect going into this but coming out of it pretty satisfied and fully engaged to the story line. Started off pretty normally to other games that I've played but created a plot that slowly became something increasingly interesting

Pacing is slightly slow but still perfectly fine. Renders are pretty nice. Animations are limited but still not all that bad. Decent amount of plot development and an unexpected amount of depth added to almost all characters introduced

This is an underrated game for sure that deserves more attention

Underrated game. I really enjoy the story, it's well written, the pacing is solid, the language is well done.

The animations are few but appropriately placed in sex scenes and the graphics, in general, are pretty good. Not the usual environments that get overused in many games.

I can't believe I didn't notice this game earlier. I am still playing through the latest release (3.2.0.0) and I can't wait for more.

It's heavily story based so there's aren't that much sex scenes so far. It really doesn't matter all that much though as the story in itself is really strong. I also enjoy the humor put into the game. Keep it up, dev.

Game has a very interesting plot, great content story and sex wise, beautiful and variety of renders with a strong action pack drama.
Moreover every character has certain mystery, plot and backstory, that's important for character build and development which makes game fantastic.

The game is interesting, a nice story, some decent dialogues, some sex scenes here and there, with a handful of girls that as far as i know doesnt affect the outcome of anything.
You may have sex with someone once but dont expect her to treat you better or to do it again, nor expect that to change the relationships or the dynamics between characters. I like to call it fanservice

This happens with ALMOST every girl and, maybe is the clue to know who the main character is, precisely the one that has 0 ZERO ZIP content. Maybe there is sonme choice that maybe get you a kiss in the cheek.

The story takes too much time, its decent but so far I wouldnt say this is a porn novel, more like a fantasy novel with some adult component.

Sex scenes are quite average, 4 frame looped "animations". The close to decent writing cant make up for the lack in this area.

Overall i would say the game rating varies depending on what you expect from it. IF it wasnt advertised as porn, it would be a 4 maybe, 3 in the actual state cause there are so many things left to unfold that barely moved from the beggining of the game..

Im not against creating backgrounds for the characters, and this game takes quite some time with that, but in the actual state, its mostly that, dialogues and a plot that is barely moving.

This game really needs a turn for the better.

Charming and captivating, hell this game by far has the most immersive storyline I've had for a good good while now, probably since the LaS. Definitely worth a couple of bucks a month to be a patron guys

I don't trust overly negative or overly positive reviews, so I'm going to lay it out both good and bad. Also gonna try not to reveal too much in the spoiler territory.

First, this is another top tier game. It's well written. The characters are more believable than most. It's an interesting story. Action sequences are well designed (especially for this type of game). The story pacing is pretty damn good, we're given good chunks of story, character reveal, and lewd. I'm invested in the story and characters enough to look forward to what happens next.

I do have some small problems. I mean, some things about the MC and why he does what he does are explained a bit later in the story. However, I think there needs to be more emphasis on *why* the MC doesn't really explore his new magic right off the bat... again this is sorta explained later... but we need more hints of this at the beginning. Looking at comments, dev, you're losing people before they get far enough into find out what's going on in his head. Also, the reason the MC is respected by so many of this new society is... a bit lacking. I can buy folks respecting his restraint in using the new powers, that merits more respect than the... story elements involving his courier job.

Why would one of the ladies think the MC is gay? This needs to be explored a bit more. He obviously checks out the ladies, the male gaze exists. Women notice. So this needs to be explored more.

MC's depression is a bit too much on slow-reveal. We need a bit more inner monologue on this, need to feel it a bit more at the beginning as we go through his journey. He doesn't have to be a totally mopey nerd, but it feels like the story forgets about this for a bit then comes back to it so it's slightly out of place.

Also there is my pet peeve. Convenient bisexuals. Let's please stop shoe-horning girl on girl action in with the convenient bisexuals. It's an over-used story element. Especially in a game that works hard on the characters. With two of the possible harem candidates, MC also feels a bit like a third wheel after-thought.

My initial positivity for the game stands, despite the flaws. It's easily in my top 10, if not top 5.

This is one of the most coherent, interesting stories out there, especially for a fantasy/sci-fi type plot, where coherency is much more of a challenge. So many unique and interesting characters, it is riveting even in parts of the plot with no sex going on.

Really looking forward to more from SmokeMob.

Man this is one dumb game.

First, let me get straight to the point why I think it's dumb: The story and writing. There are so many words in this story yet they seem to do absolutely nothing. I'ts just boring (and often stupid as fuck) dialogue and exposition cranked up to eleven hundred. I don't care for any of this.

There's no story driver. No motive at all, shit just happens for seemingly no good reason.

Main Character meets a god and gets magical powers! - Then what does he do with it? - Well absolutely fucking nothing of course! It's so stupid. He doesn't even think to test out his powers even a little bit. He then proceeds to get beaten up repeatedly. Like the little bitch he is.

I haven't felt this much antipathy for an MC in a very long while. He's such a pussy ass bitch, and there's no way to play him differently.

His hot neigbours brother beats him up for no reason, then his neighbour asks him to run after him like a little bitch and help him out with some dumb shit. My MC of course proceeds to do exactly that. It's some convoluted story variant of "lets's go beat up this dumb bitch's abusive boyfriend". And my spineless pussy ass MC just goes along with it.

Then there's some ninjas with magical powers fighing and shit. I don't understand why any of it had to be in the game. It's just more pointless dumb shit.

Oh and here's this bitch who wants you to do her a favor and she "bribes" you with her body. It's dumb.

Pretty much all the story is just dumb juvenile shit that makes no sense.

The renders are ok I guess, but there's absolytely no need to slog through this boring ass clickfest for some mediocre sex scenes.

If you care at all for writing that's coherent and interesting then you best stay away from this one. It'll make your hair go grey. Unless, of course you've already pulled it all out from your scalp out of sheer frustration already.

Super fun game. The whole story with supernatural elements is great. Choices seems to matter. The girls look cute and hot. I really like lewd scenes in the game. I'm looking forward to new updates in the future.

The world Mad World is set in is very intriguing. This is another one of those games that I feel deserves a lot more support just because it does so many things well. Yes there is great erotic content in parts but what makes it interesting is the direction the story seems to be going. The renders are also pretty nice although I am no expert there.
