Alright, let me be annoying for a bit :ROFLMAO:

If there hasn't been a male in the magical realm for a long time and they apparent have no knowledge about male genitals, how did those 18y "creatures" born?

Also, I didn't understand the weird "ambiguity" of this dialogue at the prologue:
Arthur: So we need to say we're both witches born in the Magic Realm.
Jade: And we're both girls.
Arthur: I see... Does that mean Miss Midnight...?
Jade: I explained that is a matter of private details. She won't ask you anything that you don't want to answer.

Arthur: Oh. Perfect. That makes things easier.

So... what is this "private matter"? I'm almost certainly wrong here, but what if MC has born a female and somehow magically turned into male, that's why he can do magic? :ROFLMAO:

Thinking about it... actually pretending to be a trans man (or a very masculine tomboy) to would lead to funnier situations than casting a disguise spell on the MC. :ROFLMAO:

As potentially interesting as that could possibly be, if written and handled well, I wouldn't trust the majority of people on this site not to be toxic as fuck about playing a non cishet (non transgender straight) character.

Private Details is worded wrong. From my understanding it's Personal Matters or Personal/Private circumstances.
As if it's something that the MC cannot share with the others for a certain reason.

So in other words, it would be something like this....
•••
Arthur: I see... Does that mean Miss Midnight...?
Jade: If she asks why, let's just say it personal matters. This way you can choose not to reply if she ask you further.
•••

Alert spoiler:
However, later on she actually knows that the MC is a man, so I might be completely wrong here.

Very much hoping to see more from this game, it has a very entertaining art style and I genuinely like all the characters introduced so far and want to see how they develop.

I only found one issue with 2.1 that was technical, and that is that quest 3 started immediately for me (placing me into the office to overhear part of the conversation and go after brooms) after it told me about quest 1 and to check the journal for quests. It still worked okay, and I eventually got back to that part and it repeated.

Still, going to watch this one for development and hope for a lot more content as it progresses. Great work so far. (y):)

Art, fantastic. Dialogue, engaging. The animations, very clean.

Yeah, absolutely putting this one into favorites, I cannot wait to see more content, this looks so insanely good and refreshing.

There is no trans here. MC is a male that can do magic.
Normally only females can do magic.
To hide this the headmistress casts a perception filter aura on you. anyone who does not know you are male or is not confronted with your maleness will be magically compelled to view you and refer to you as a female.
it is a paper thing disguise

New game has big problems as it is. Hatchet Games

When you get to the point where you have to check the characters screen (heart icon), something weird happens: you cannot get to the Ren'py/save menu anymore.
- if you Open the quest menu (top left icon) or clothes menu (hanger icon) from hall after that, it's gonna launch a quest, where you are asked to get in town and buy broom.
- If after that step you go to the hall, then reopen the heart menu, you can only talk to one of Lulu or Angelika, and get soft locked and can't go sleep ( mentionned by Shizuka Na ikaku earlier)
- If you push "esc" or right click, it's gonna put you back at the point the game ask you to click on heart icon.
- If you try to load an auto-saved game, despite what the screenshot of the auto save show, it's gonna load you back at the point where you are asked to click on the heart icon.

The only way I found to play as it seem intended is to not open the menu and not save.
Having the same issue. Only realized it when I had gotten much further, and hit right click, to save my progress, and it borked all of my Auto saves up until that point, so I can no longer use the save menu from here on out.

I have all this bugs too and there is probably more, still the way a found how to avoid at least this ones are by going to "Preferences" and in "Rollback Side" select "Left". Anyway, is probably better to upload a new bugfix update.

They brought back the head-bobbing? Oh fuck yes. Very glad to see this game getting updates.
Alright, played the latest update. Not surprised to see a bit of a content rollback, just part of the bumpy ride of game development, but I'm not too sure about the pacing at the moment.

I know not everyone is a fan of it, but I genuinely liked the points system from the earlier alpha builds! Felt like it spaced out the interactions a bit, made things feel less like a kinetic novel. Maybe that's partially just a problem of not having tons of content to occupy the player yet.

More importantly, I think the Jade scenes, while having really good art and being really well-written, feel awkward in their current placement as dream sequences within the Annie storyline. It feels like it takes the wind out of Arthur's relationship with Jade, because it skips the critical build-up before the payoff. Also, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but I couldn't really tell what the scenes were—Flashbacks to past events that Arthur and Jade don't talk about anymore? Premonitions of future events? Hypothetical events that could have happened? Or just horny fantasies?

This is one of the best games in this site but I must say I preferred the chill and laid back protagonist and the lilith from the previous version

It's a pity the previous version isn't avaible since it's kind of hard for me to describe his whole attitude without the context but I'll do my best.
The previous MC was as I said before, chill, laid back and "cool" for lack of better words since english isn't my first Language, that being said he wasn't ice cold, quite the opposite in fact, even if at first sight it would seem that nothing phased him his expressions and body language transmited better his character and emotions even if his expressions were more "tame". For example you don't need to draw an exaggerated scared face with big open eyes and mouth to show that a character is afraid,of course it depends of the type of character but for someone who isn't as facially expressive when they do show emotions it feels different than someone whos always overreacting, maybe eyes sliglhtly more open than usual, a mouth a little ajar and some sweat drops can comunicate it better than an exaggerated expression, sometimes less is more imo, this was just an example. I'll try to show it with some Screenshots

I hope the SS can make it easier to understand since I feel it's quite difficult to do lol. Btw here you can see to some extent the same thing with lilith (the sleepy teacher) I feel that this version transmitted better her sleepiness and tiredness than the actual 2.1 version and suffers from the same thing as the MC and I think in the last SS can be seen quite easily the difference with the two versions. In the changelog the dev says that it felt too apathetic and I have to disagree, it wasn't TOO apathetic, it was the perfect amount of apathetic, not a deadpan but a cool kinda vibe wich made the funny scenes even better, for example the banana peel scene in 1.1 was EXCELENT because of this very thing, it showed that the MC even if serious can have fun and do silly things with his friend even if not as bubbly and full of expressions as her, it felt funny and silly yet mature.

Anyways maybe I'am overanalyzing a porn game but I wanted to give some feedback even if I'm the only one who feels this way plus people who didn't get to play the 0.1 and 1.1 won't know how he was before so it may don't even bother them, I just feel it was a downgrade and can't bring myself to like this new take on these characters. Then again this are the devs characters and if they feel this is how they were meant to be and/or this is their vision of them then that's fine, just not for me.

I dunno, Lilith looked more generic to me in the previous version (from the caps you showed me). Adding some freckles and those bags under her eyes improved her look I'd say. Plus she looks a bit older for some reason to me in the new version, like shes's a teacher in her early 30s, whereas in the first version she looked like she was 20 something, and generally looked more generic. I don't know what to say about the MC tho.

anyway so your complaint is purely in the drawings or in the dialogue too?

About lilith I think I'll disagree in some things with you, it didn't feel more generic to me but I agree that the freckles and more noticeable bags improve her design but I think it could have been added to the older model about the age I don't know they both feel old to me haha. About the MC it's quite hard to convey the change into words for me and geting all I'm trying to describe with just some SS is borderline impossible. As for my complaint I'd say both, not because the drawings are bad but because they were so on point in the previous versions that this ones feel odd. In dialogue too I think, I have to say I haven't finished 2.1 so some of my points might get adressed later but just from the first couple of minutes I have plenty of things to say so I'll try to keep it short, I'll use a lot of SS since it's outright impossible to explain without them tho.

Anyone who played the 2.1 can spot the differences easily I'd say, in the 2.1 the MC acts more "meek" I think could be the right word.In the 1.1 he, even tho was accepted in the academy, had to show his magic capabilities and choses a percutiens duel with Jade with Maeve comenting that it was a good choice and why plus I think we get to see more of the personalities of everyone with the exchange between Jade and Maeve. In the 2.1 the MC gets told from Maeve what to do and the reaction from Jade is different. After all that in 1.1 the MC gifts a bundle of comics to Jade as a congratulations for getting into the academy that she so dreamed of to be part of, and in the 2.1 the just say their goodbyes for the day and that's it. This SHOWED us trough character actions and dialoge the friendship between MC and Jade.

Later in the first class when we're introduced to Lulu I think we get the whole chuunibyou and mischievous personality a lot better with her clones and later bananas (and banana peels) than what we get in the 2.1.

Like this I feel there's a lot of changes I could comment on but this would get too long and again I may be overanalyzing a porn game but I feel thoes little (and not so little) details were what made this game so good in the first place.

For closing to anyone who did read all this I'd like to know your opinion, especially if you did get to play the previous versions, that way I could know if I'm the only one who felt this way or if it was noticeable for someone else and if it bothered them as much as me or if I'm a crybaby hahaha.
