Do y'all know of a way to consistently break blocks either above or below you? The only way I've found is to mash familiars' attacks, and it is enough of a pain to make me think I'm missing something

So, I'm fighting Owier and her first phase is the hardest for me, because of all the small projectiles. I can avoid them in King form, but her attacks don't hurt Owier. On the other hand Pure's attacks are great, but I can avoid only fire and ice/snow projectiles. Is there any strategy for Owier's first phase?

Also, how do you get Ms. Biblio as a familiar? I fought her and that's all. Do I need to go back to her realm or what?

i also tried to run this one and bastard bonds with wine. While BB is running but eventually softlocks, because apparently there is no corresponding opengl function to render needed stuff (because wine is not an emulator), this one i cannot run at all. It is made with usage of directx, so i expect it always will be troublesome to run it on non-windows platforms.

if i remember correctly, after you hit it you need to up and around, also noteworthy: you can throw the scythe as a ball or smth and it should still activate the switch, you throw it by crouching, i think it was. But i dont really think that its nescesarry.
I'd give you the exact step by step if you have the image from after the button is pressed.

that was perfect thank you so much, I hit it with the scythe while slowing down time and moved across!

Hey guys I purchased a copy book. I am unsure how to use this as it says "get a familiar of your choice with this book" but I don't know how to activate it, and I also don't know how to activate other books. Please can anyone help

Copy books are needed to transfer and multiply skills across familiars.
Here is example

1 - first choose familiar with needed skill, in this example pixie has healing ability and i want to copy it

2 - buy a copy book

3 - select clean book and required familiar as active in the summoning deck, in this case pixie

now skills are copied to book. Copying from book to another book works too! (probably)
4 - go to shop and select inherit skill
5 - select book, select skill to teach and select target familiar, for example i choose clerk to learn healing ability

book is destroyed in process.


now miss clerk has health regeneration.

... - that's it, have fun experimenting!

Sadly, as far as I know, you can't.
It seems you've used them in the boss fight. The boss uses soul-type attacks which permanently "kills" spirit-type familiars. That's their big downside, as a trade-off for being immune to physical attacks.
You can try to use erase skill + copy book to replace these debuffs, but it is like slapping a bandaid into a severed head (I tried )

Hey guys I am in EX Chapter "Chase the Princess" (chapter 5) I have been trying to get there for hours, I only have Pure, Chrono, Moon and Traveler Boy (so I can't use princesses' flight cloak power to get there. I have looked at the wiki and couldn't find a solution. Any help?

edit: black doors in "Filters" map that could take me to the same place remain locked and don't open...

Have you found it yet? I actually don't remember what is supposed to be open at what point, but i believe there are two paths to quest objective.

I appreciate so much the effort you're taking in helping me, it is really sweet!
Unfortunately for some reason all of those paths are blocked by the same metal grey doors that won't open, this one I went as far back as the Theatre map.


And you can probably see in my map, the top areas of theatre, filters, water tower, and tank are all undiscovered unfortunately because of these black doors

My best guess now would be to play the game from the start by going back to chapter 1 (back in time) and hope I have missed something, unless you know how
