Romance, huh? We talking "she can end up with a character at the end" like in Ideology in Friction or Rune's Pharmacy? Or is it a slow-burn romance over the course of the game? And is it het or yuri? Or is the romance only something two secondary characters engage in that the protagonist just observes or supports?

I've never completed Ideologey Friction or Rune's Pharmacy so I can't really say there, but...
All scenes are hetero only. The main male love interest is Luis (Just your average faceless hentai self insert
). Through out the game you'll obtain rare items called embryo that summon familiars to fight for you, Riru can activate them using... semen, these scenes are costume dependent and the more they do it, the more intimate (and lewd) they get.I'm not 100% sure but I think which ending you get is based on how many times you use embryos.

No idea with Ideology in Friction either, but IIRC you don't really end up with anyone in Rune's Pharmacy's vanilla ending.

Looks like KG announced the release(??) date for this game
Not sure why they would release the game after so long again, when Mangagamer had already done so.
Maybe its just to say theres a "all ages version" on steam now.
Hope at least KG knows how to make an all ages version of a already official localization without adding random bugs or crashes like they always do.

Theres literally no reason to get the "kg version".
Its the exact same game, KG is only handling the steam release aka PG13 version at the request of mangagamer.

Not really sure what you mean with "if the scenes are untranslated like they are supposed to be".
Atm cant test anything, but either way as the KG staff member said the other day in their discord, they were only handling the publishing on steam.
You could put both version on the first page but i be honest it would be sort of a waste of time because the "KG version" doesnt add anything that the Mangagamer doesnt already have. (MG already haz uncensored cgs etc etc).
Unless ofc you want that lovely KG logo on startup and any possible bug/issue that KG may have introduced when they created said version.
TLDR: For those who are waiting for the upload of the " Magical Swordmaiden" . just play the MG version on the first page and the only thing u will be missing is the KaguraGames logo.

The game tecnically belongs to Mangagamer and mangagamer uncensors all the games they localize.

For all effects Magic and Slash which is the game original name, is a VN with gameplay, kinda like rance.

i dont mind VN with gameplay. i just dont like kinetic novels where its just reading over and over with some choices. in this it seems you can travel,theres fighting
Game is like diablo but levels seem to be corridors with branches. Does it get any interesting later? I am still in forest lv10.
