A heads-up:
As our Christmas present, and since Magical Camp's new version is not ready yet, we have released the remaster of Prisoners of the Elder One. You may download it here:
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas from the HLF team.
Take your time with this one. It hasn't disappointed me yet and while I wait patiently for the next update you can't rush perfection in my eyes. It is why this is my favorite game out of all the ones I have played.

It's already been a few weeks again, so here are some new things from the Discord:
First is a new enemy (called Fey Herald), which was custom-drawn by artist Kali for the game. And it will not be the only one, oh no.

The second is more a demonstration picture, namely all the food graphics that were drawn by artist Yuuta and will show up in the Detroitian vampire maid café:

I thought there would be some new events with other party members next as Natalie's route is more advanced. I guess everything will be developed in it's time. Actually from the main cast I'm most curious about how Alice's route will progress.

I'm following the guide for the research base and currently stuck. I used the keycard to unlock the door below where you find the lab scientist. is there suppose to be an encounter?

Now here's a fetish I didn't even know I liked. This is pretty great. I don't even mind the lack of actual sex scenes so far.

No the stuff that points to that has been in for a long time. It makes for a compelling argument, but there isn't anything to confirm or deny it yet.

I'll have to replay it and pay better attention... i heard rumor of the next version, but still see nothing on it, sadly

tfw for some reason your notifications get turned off and you miss several shitstorms in the comments you wish you participated in.
i mean, imagine calling a free fucking game a "commercial product".
imagine complaining about magicamp making <800$ when shit like lilith's throne and renpy 3dcg shovelware make several thousand

Everyone has their own opinions lol. But, it's sorta entertaining to me that some devs can spit out multiple unfinished games that all end up being incomplete, and people still feed those devs money each new project. I just move on and play the good stuff, and let other people do their thing, though. I mean, if someone wants to fork out their money for things other people deem worthless, that's on them.

I felt Lilith's throne was pretty revolutionary when it came out. Writing a whole game engine for your game is pretty impressive and opens up a lot of room for different mechanics. Plus the story was decent. Then it was just years of tiny updates that added little bits of side content here and there.

It seems like a lot of developers do that. They make a good opening push, then fade out into little side upgrades that add very little to the game. When they don't just stop updating entirely. I can't really blame them. I'd probably do the same thing if I made a game. I'd start out all interested and hyped to make stuff, then run out of steam and just add little things out of a sense of obligation.

But it does make games where the developers actually continue things more impressive.
