And rightfully so, Ambrosia had great artwork and touched on so many kinks (prostitution, exhibition, implied shota, etc.) that there was something for everyone. I haven't played the Japanese version but if Celesphonia is similar to Ambrosia when Kagura releases it on May 7, this is easily gonna be a knockout release.

A question to those who played: is Celesphonia bigger than Ambrosia content-wise or it's roughly the same?
I'd say roughly the same. Mechanics in Celesphonia seem to be noticeably more complex though

they have the game on steam so they cant exactly have the game completely uncensored without a patch. They have to somehow sell the game on there so they provide a free uncensored patch on the kagura games website from what I noticed.

Just gonna clarify that it's due to the Steam's retarded policies publishers like Kagura games can't sell lewd games as they are, that's why the publishers cut the game into a "safe" all-ages version for Steam sells and externally provide the patch that restores the game to its former glory. A band-aid workaround, but it works. In some really heavy cases, even external patches get cracked down upon and in these cases the patch gets released by "fans" instead(like it happened with Baldr Sky), while the official publishers deny having anything to do with it.
True, because of that, it becomes a pretty finicky process. The angsty virgins from above are too shy to admit that they jerk off to drawn porn too, hence they feel the need to complicate the fellow honest chad's life. But one day - we'll prevail and displace them, and will have the privilege to download the full game in a single click as we should.

Kagura is releasing the game tomorrow and contrary to popular belief they do not uncensor the works the OG artist/company that made the game provides them with it and kagura does patches as steam likes to block anything remotely in the rape, loli, etc. content category so they make a patch almost every time to avoid getting the game blocked. A steam purchase will not have h content without the patch. if your going to pirate it it'll most likely end up already patched on here if not a purchase directly from kagura will not require a patch and wont show up on your steam library for all your friends to see 
Anyways to what I wanted to talk about to begin with. This game looks amazing I'm hopeful it'll have all the best parts of Anthesis and Ambrosia all packaged together. Ambrosia was nice but the animations were kinda lacking Anthesis was amazing but it was in an old engine but the cgs were wonderful despite their poor quality due to the engine.
