does the sexy sound effects work for anyone, there are no sound effects for me during sex.
i have everything on default settings checked the script, it uses sound effects, checked the sound folder, its working. but in game the only sound effect i ever get is the running footsteps sound.

Yes you're right, I'm sorry. Next time I see suspicious software included with stolen games I will be sure to execute it and hope I get all the Steam games for free. Nothing is too good to be true.

I understand your hesitation and fears of unknown software. This is my 16th release using said software to bypass steam in games. You also have been using this site since 2016 and I hope you noticed that we take virus alerts seriously. We have not had any incidents related to anything malicious being shared here. If there have been any, I haven't been made aware of or the rest of staff either.
Just like SmartSteamLoader, Renpy has an issue with being caught as a trojan/malware in general. They are both false positives.
I can't get the game to work for more than 20 seconds before it freezes and crashes, Any fix for this?

I took the crunch version for a run and launched it without steamloader. Does it actually need steamloader?

Yes it does. The game depends on certain achievements being acquired to unlock other events and to make the gallery work. I was digging through the code and it would take too much time to remove it. Not to mention make it work afterwards. I take it I forgot to package SteamLoader with the crunched version?
No, it's there. I'm just so used to opening the renpy exe that it's muscle memory and didn't even notice there was a steam launcher. But I launched it and was able to replay scenes and all that, which was why I was curious if it was even needed at all.

Ren'py games use plain text as source files ... why would they suddenly need thirdparty software to function properly?
As you pointed out I've been here over 3 years, and I have to say this is the first time I encounter something like this. I hack and mod almost every Ren'py game I use, I never had to use anything else but UnRen and notepad++ to bypass anticheats, passwords and other blocks. It seems rather strange that I would now need to use a "SmartSteamLoader" ... maybe rename it to "TrojanForDumbHornyGuys" ?

You dont have to use it, the game wont run. You can remove all the code from the game that calls for the steam api so it will work. Or you can use the steamloader that emulates it so you dont have to. Either way its a hack tool and they always get flagged by AV. Just like keygens used for pirating software. At this point I would highly suggest staying away from all my downloads that are steam releases. Only a select few have steam completely removed from them.
