Thought so too. At least mine crashed early on, so it was not a big deal

I just tried this game and it has a lot of promise. I might like it more if it did have that black and white pattern/grid with the red x for everything. It interferes with everything. My only recommendation is to replace this eyesore. Sorry to say, I will not be continuing to play it. I will be watching the change logs for the version that replaces that eyesore.

how to increase Fame points?

Send your maids out until they get enough xp (or sxp) to level up. Once you do that some of the requests you get will require more stats but give you more money and fame.

I lost 3 hours of play on Christmas/Monday night - very disappointing

Lesson learned though - save often

I'd been in town just after selling a disobedient redhead and picking up another secondhand one - since the restart, no secondhand redheads and I've spent another half a day on another blonde with obedience issues
