To get the most out of Big dicks you need to go there every supply cycle not after sleeping. Took me a few play through to get used to how almost everything in the game is tied to the supply cycles. Basically if you remember to do it every supply cycle from the moment you unlock him until you have your meeting with Archibald you should never have any issues making an alliance with Archibald as long as you don't antagonize him. I usually just do the flower maid who is out front since she is the first one you see. She must really hate me at this point for all of the flower fields I have destroyed.

Pretty much all of the things you can do at Big Dicks are to enable you to earn trophies that you might have otherwise missed. Like for example the slot machine at Baleflight manor. If you haven't missed any trophies then other than seeing the scenes attached to them no need to do all of them. At least didn't seem to make any difference to me.

thank you very much, so that means I have to start all over again from the moment I cleared lalita's estate?

I just finished Archibald's mansion segment with a good ending, becoming allies I assume, but didn't get Iris. Do I get her later?
Iris is optional to recruit. If you want her, you have to go find her.
Avoiding the openly hostile ending with Archibald just means he doesn't lock you out of his Estate. If he did lock you out, then you'd have had to recruit Iris before the end of the segment.
Though I'm working on getting an alternate method of recruiting her built for v0.23 for those that did make Archibald big mad.

How much money do I have to spend ugh
Yes.

anyone know when the game finish?
As of v0.22, there's only one major story update left.
The next update, v0.23, will be focused on side content and affection quests, and might get split up into multiple updates because it's roughly 50 quests plus more (and there's a poll about that for supporters on my / right now), but after that's done, the next update will be v1.0.
It's hard to say exactly how long it'll take to get there, but the game will be complete this year.

Then I have a side project to finish (which I'm also hoping will be done this year because it's meant to be small, but that might be overly optimistic), and while I'm doing that, a poll will be running on Patreon/Subscribestar for which of my demos gets turned into a full game next.

This is my first time playing through the war... but I'm pretty sure that after the cult meeting reintroducing Beverly I shouldn't be able to

Yeah, that shouldn't be possible.
Well, the teleport, yes, but getting to the south forest region map, no. Fixed for v0.23.
Thanks for calling this out!

Only if you want to min/max your reputation score so you can be besties with Archibald without giving anything up.
The way it's set up, unless you've been actively antagonizing literally everyone and generally making an ass out of yourself at every opportunity (and even then, I'm not sure it's mathematically possible), you can still give up everything you have on him and you should get the neutral ending.
Which, spoilers - the Writ of Recompense from the start of the game is only useful for that moment. You can keep it if you really want to, but it has no mechanical purpose outside of surrendering it to Archibald during this confrontation.

Same thing with the Beauregard Mansion Wilds. It brings you into the East Swamp instead of the War Map, allowing you to mess around out of sequence. I gave up on assassinating Beverly after doing over 15K damage to his illusion :geek:

ALSO... is there a negative consequence to not completing the "Liberate Ventire" item in the Task List? In my current playthrough I cleared out the Maids there earlier because of a bug I'd previously reported (couldn't resist the allure of XP) and now it's stuck on the Task List.

EDIT: hreserevesExits from Augalamh Pond and the Amaira Hold headstone send Master to the North Swamp Map instead of the War Map. At the Headstone, I can teleport to the Amaira estate and drop right onto Beverly, locking the game in an eternal teabagging situation (Good End #1? lol) In addition, my save resets the Scrap Wood Master can gather and the Headstone options to Ransack the Hold, Take Some, Not All(which I'd previously selected) or Leave for now.
: War Map w/Pond accessible (there will be 2 encounters after enemy movement. Sorry for the delay if you have to play through)
: At the Headstone.

EDIT AGAIN:EDIT: hresereves I forgot... after I encounter Beverly at the Amaira estate, I can choose to screw around with my maids(especially all the ways I can do Beverly's sister at this estate) and the Amaira estate maids, take a nap, talk with his allegedly paralyzed, possibly dead mom and have moar secs with her instead of trying to race to save my threatened ill-defended estate(though I'm not sure Teely couldn't one-shot Beverly and the priestess by accident with a lucky trip.) I'm a bit surprised that Master being a motherfucker isn't even something he attempts to provoke Beverly with.

What is the Vicky freeze extra objective? I already talk to everyone and can't dismiss her to finish other maids quest first.

Edit : Vicky got the extra objective star but it was grey after I spend time with June. I'm so confused.

Dang, I missed more of those checks than I thought. And here I thought I was thorough. All fixed for v0.23. Thanks (again) for calling those out!

No idea how the headstone or your Scrap Wood reset on you, though. The headstone is determined by a global switch that doesn't get operated outside of the Hold, and there's nothing in the headstone that changes your Scrap Wood.

As for not liberating Ventire - it depends.
If the Folk have already been moved, the only negative consequence would be missing the trophy for liberating everything on the war map. The trophy is a little more complicated than that, but I don't want to give away all my secrets. >.>
If the Folk haven't been moved, not liberating Ventire is another way they can potentially die.

So you were able to complete the extra objective and had the gold star, but it turned grey (but remained visible) after completing June's Freeze quest?
I can't seem to recreate that, and I don't see anything in the scripting that would cause that to happen.
You don't happen to remember the specific steps you took to make all that happen, do you?

Sorry for my poor wording, didn't realize it would mean that way. I meant to ask about Vicky extra objective first (that I still don't know how to trigger) then I gave up and immediately went to spend time with June. So I never got Vicky extra objective star.

Recreation of that is just:

1. Start of 3rd(?) Freeze
2. Go to Vicky to spend time in her room
3. Go straight to June to spend time at the bar (grey star doesn't trigger yet)
4. Get the CG where June look at Chole and planning a prank.
5. Grey star on Vicky quest.

Yeah, that's really early in the game. Sorry for the trouble.
I think what's happening is characters are being removed from the party there, and you're ending up with a party exclusively made up of characters with zero HP.
There should be somewhere you can go to rest and heal your party to stop that from happening.
If there's nowhere to rest, feel free to share your save (I need both the numbered save and the 'global.rmmzsave' files) and I can fix it manually for you.
hey thanks, it worked as I just avoided getting a zero HP

I just had a feeling that I want to do a second playthrough, so I started Maids & Masters Arrival to do the whole transfers thingy again.

Then poof! All of my save files are gone. (Rookie mistakes tbh)

To my understanding and quick google, all of the saves are still there. It's just global.rmmzsave which remember the save slots itself messed up. Move all the save files that you want to save out, save the save new files so there will be available slot and then drag the old save files back to replace the new ones.

global.rmmzsave will remember the "look" of the save slots. I.e. I saved on file 1 and 32 on Arrival, so when I moved the global files and the save 32 that I want; It will show that save file 1 has only around 30 minutes of play times, but when I loaded it, it will still be the correct version of the save.

Not a problem, that's why I asked questions. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a bug somewhere that I wasn't seeing.

Vicky's extra Freeze objective is in the Estate yard. You need to interact with something to get it to trigger.

And thanks for the extra info! That led me right to where the bug was. Fixed for v0.23.

Thanks.

You're welcome!

That's on purpose, believe it or not. Finding synergies (whether it's between Maids or equipping a Maid a certain way) is how combat in the game is supposed to go. Every so often you'll find something that works so well you'll wonder why you haven't been doing it the whole game. It's why Master being able to Order four Maids in engagements is sort of a big deal in-universe, and why Maids like Kala are considered as strong as they are.
Especially once Act 3 starts and you have access to the Mind Hold. Power scaling kinda goes out the window at that point.

Whelp.
Yeah, your saves (as long as they haven't been overwritten) will still be in the save subfolder the same way they were before. Them not showing up in-game is why I ask people for their global.rmmzsave file when I ask them to share their save. You should be able to confirm all the files are still there by looking in the folder.
Though if you overwrote your old global.rmmzsave file, you might not be able to get them to load at all, so you kinda lucked out there being able to load your old save in the one slot. You might be able to get your old saves to load with the new global.rmmzsave if you create backups of your saves, create a new save in the relevant slot, then overwrite the new file with the old one (or repeat your earlier process with Arrival and save in more slots), but that's kind of a shot in the dark.

I should probably put a warning about that in the README.

I wonder which Viridius path is better? The negotiation ones or just sneaking in. I vaguely remembered that I played the whole sneak in sequence but in the main save file showed the negotiation one.

My guess is that negotiation is just faster, while aggression ones can farm some exps.

I also find the bug in the exact same way you mentioned the first time. Vicky extra objective turn grey after June quest, but it was more like a reset than anything; I just finished Vicky extra objective again and it seemed to be fine.

Yeah, it's subjective. The aggression path is more difficult and takes longer, but gives more experience, which can be extremely valuable in the early game.
The diplomatic path gives more affection/reputation and is faster/easier, but you can grind affection at the love shack and the reputation score doesn't pay off until way later.

Still frustrating that I missed the bug in the first place, but like you said, it's not like it's game-breaking. At least it's fixed now.

where to find kala after she left ;_;
The wastes. The entrance is in the middle of the South Desert's south side.
More specifically, the Detheridge Estate. All the towers there have a door on each side; that seems to trip some people up.

Love the game so far! Any hint on the Ravenswood Defense? All my people are lvl 29 and everything I walk through a door one is waiting.
