I feel ya. The disappointment was definitely excruciating. If by some chance Mara was gonna be in it and she was actually romanceable this time, being a real LI, then I would...that is not likely though I think. She was an incredibly designed character I have to say, one of the best I've seen, and why I chose to try this game out, but I am bias for the type of look she has, tan girls with blue/green eyes. Her heterochromia eyes were very striking and mesmerizing.

It is set in an Iceland-esque place, if there were enough assets based on Iceland I'd've certainly done that.

Not a big incest guy but I loved father/daughter bound between the main character and Xiomara. I just didn't like the ending, I'll applaud any Dev for finishing their project, especially their first one because I know how difficult it can be to accomplish this. Particularly, with such little support behind it.
Back to the story. I didn't like how the attention diverted from Xiomara to Ava. Xiomara was the main draw to a lot of people including me. She was the beauty in all of this but as the chapters went on it felt more like the Ava show. I don't mind if her and the main character got it on because the obvious tension was already there but again, I came for Xiomara. The build up to her losing her virginity was good but her intimate scenes felt so rushed and unfulfilling to me, I just wasn't satisfied.
Also when it comes to animation it's like this for me- If you can do it, fine. But please don't ruin scenes by trying to implement something that you're not good at just to please others. In this case still shots would've been the better option, the sex scenes would've been longer, more intimate and better suited.
I do wish that the ending would've been more catered to Xiomara fans but what can you do. Best of luck to you on your next project.

Now I am a firm believer that once something like this (music, movie, VN) is out it's for the public to discuss, no amount of explanation from the author should divert one from their conclusions - that being said, while Xiomara IS a fan favourite, I simply couldn't step on Xiomara as a person's progress in life.
She's 22, and literally just started her career, and for her to just leave it or put it on the back burner for someone who's not going anywhere and would oppose her putting her favourite line of work aside for him.
That's why they can't be together, but that's just FOR NOW.
Oh, I've realized that now haha - I'll give it one more try because I genuinely do love creating stuff in Blender and see myself progressing in it - but yes you're correct.

I agree that everyone's conclusions are, and will be the same regardless of the explanation you can give. And I want to stop in the "for now", unless your plan is to make a MM 2 where Alvaro returns to be the MC, it is not a for now, never again we as players are going to "live" that story, we will be witnesses perhaps of a story of an NPC, and frankly, it is not the same.
And while I agree that Xio's life should be HER life, at a certain point it all remains a plan in the shadows, being that it was a very honest relationship.
Still, I wouldn't change anything (well, yes, I would change the sex scenes, they don't live up to the story, neither of them) because at the end of the day it's an almost perfect love story.

I did like this game a lot and loved the chemistry between the characters, the 2 LI were very good too but this ending was bittersweet as hell, kind ruined my game experience in a way, so yeah enjoyed a lot most of the game but the end for me was very bad not on the level of the rest of the vn kind puting a stone on it and drowning it .
