Very well done. Up until the ending of course, it's too bad but sticking the landing is the hardest part of writing for a lot of people.

Put this in "game\images\Ep3" folder.
I had this same issue, and while this file fixed the error, the following scene doesn't make sense. You're supposed to be talking to your sister, but the images clearly show Xiomara instead. A little later in the bathroom scene there's another error and a few lines later you refer to Xiomara as your ward instead of daughter. The incest patch just doesn't seem to really work.

More than anything this game is just perplexing. Almost all of the ingredients to make a great AVN are present: A very likable cast of characters, good character designs, good dialogue, great shot composition, but it just sort of loses itself. The way that Xiomara is handled throughout the game makes no sense with her being a LI. I think the story told in this game would work significantly better if Xiomara weren't a LI for Alvaro. I haven't played Further Education yet, although I plan to play it very soon, but I suspect that she would probably work better as a LI for Flynn, although it's too late for that now. Xiomara leaving to go work on her photography, but then ending up still living near where Alvaro and Ava moved is also silly. They all needed to move at the same time and Xiomara wants to be with her dad, so why didn't they all just move together? There's only a few days difference in when they each moved anyway, they could have just stayed with Carmine or in the hotel for a bit. Xiomara's hair also doesn't make any sense. She tells Alvaro that she wants to be seen as a woman, so she transitions from a woman's hairstyle to a rebellious teenager's hairstyle, which from a design perspective makes her look significantly less unique than she did before, not to mention more childish. I also find it particularly strange that Alvaro is a man who was just cheated on and then immediately begins 2 separate relationships whilst actively hiding both of them, then suddenly he only feels guilty when it's convenient for the plot, because Xiomara is leaving, which results in this issue never being resolved despite the fact that he is presumably still in a relationship with both of them, Ava is simply left out of the loop for no reason. There is also no epilogue, so I don't understand why that term is being used for the ending.

Then we come to the technical problems, this game desperately needs a proofreader/editor because the English breaks down fairly regularly, there are a lot of instances of the wrong name being used when a character is speaking, there are some instances of the wrong images being shown, and there's at least 1 image which is missing altogether. The image quality also seems to decline as the game goes on, as I noticed an uptick in fuzzy images towards the end. The earlier erotic scenes are good, but the actual sex scenes are underwhelming and the video quality is just straight up bad.

Overall, I like this game and enjoyed my time with it, but it could have been a great game if Xiomara wasn't brushed aside and if there was a greater level of polish put into the second half of the game.

I've just started: what's up with the sentences not starting with a capital letter and strange punctuation? Clearly the dev's first language is spanish, but I would assume capitalisation and punctuation work the same, no?

Everyone needs to let go of their family the way they let go of them: She pawned Xio on MC for months, broke Xio by making her into a drag for her and her career, effectively left the family life and abbandoned all her family for her addiction to work and work buddies - she shunned MC from her bed to make way for another, for work, while also sending Xio into MC, saddling both of them with the bleeding hearts of longing for her while being heartbroken by her constant dissapearence from their lives.

maybe I shouldn't, but I kind of feel sorry for Luisa.
She left the happy family life all by her lonesome self a long time ago for intimacy with her job,
no Xio, no strings attatched - usually loving family members would make do with themselves from then on, as MC was doing all the family and loving lifting in this family while Xio was a frofusely bleeding heart.

So the biggest problem this game has BY FAR is the mislabeling of who's speaking. Very frequently, you'll have the mc speaking but it be labelled as Ava or Mara, and similarly them mislabeled as one of the others. It's so frequent that I'm constantly assessing who a sentence is said by, because I can't trust the label. And sometimes I can't tell at all. There are still frequent spelling mistakes, but at least I can put those down to the dev having poor English. The mislabeling just feels like the dev getting lazy. Which is a shame because otherwise the game is really strong.

Can someone tell me if this problem persists? I think I'm gonna have to drop the game if it does.

the whole family has a wonderful tan and the old man looks ghostly. is that something the dev did for a reason?
SO the story behind this is I wanted a reference for a hispanic guy, but I already know one but he doesn't look your typical mexican fella, he's quite pale himself but the ladies in his family? they've this gorgeous darker complexion which is common in hispanics, indians, arabs and such.
So here's me in all my ignorance thinking how is it possible? but later instead fixating on the "How", I just stopped fixating altogether, it's happened and it happened to none other than my buddy, so why not?

Luis if you're seeing this (I hope not), Hi!

he's quite pale himself
> quite pale

No he looks like he's never seen the sun in his life and is incredibly sickly. I was going through the entire game with him and wondering "when is the hospital gonna come pick this man up and take him to intensive care?' It's the mix of lighting and your skin tone type making his skin in a lot of scenes look sickly grey and honestly? It kind of hurt my disbelief that anyone would look at him and not wonder 'is this man getting enough vitamins?'

Sorry to be harsh, but it's what I saw when I played and it really stuck out to me. Gameplay wise it wasn't a bad game though.

1. MC is a little pale.
2. The Xiomara and Ava situation was interesting but I feel like a man who's just been cheated on and empathizes with that would understand how cruel it is to do to someone else.
3. Xiomara getting more confident with many choices also made it seem like she would be the one to want to break the news to Ava.

Overall it felt slightly unfinished and it's not for a lack of time the writing simply wasn't there which I found jarring because I fully expected it to be and if it wasn't or if a different route was being taken I would have expected that otherwise. But no, nothing. It just kind of petered out at the end with no real satisfactory resolution.

Does Ava even know that Xiomara and Alvaro knocked boots in the end? Why is Alvaro doing to Ava what Luisa did to him? If it's because he thinks she would be okay with it then why not tell her? Even if it was after Xiomara left.

Why did Xiomara suddenly go backwards in her character growth and want to hide her relationship? She also knows how cheating can feel though from a different perspective. It got to a point where Ava really did just feel like "a woman to replace the one that was lost at the start" not an equal or anyone who really mattered.

Surely Xiomara knows that Ava and Alvaro living together alone meant they were also lovers given how she suddenly didn't want to "ruin things" I guess. But then she comes back to ruin things before leaving for 3-6 weeks? Like what? She KNEW by that point they were most likely lovers so why was it okay after the move and not before? Again was Ava ever told or are Xiomara and Alvaro just kind of expecting Ava to never find out? Why would they do this?

The characters were good but after Chapter 6 it felt like the thought process of the characters kind of just became whimsical and made no real sense. I had a hard time guessing what would happen next. I mean that whole thing when Luisa called took me by surprise given the previous scenes with her. Then she drops a sob story on us? We already got the officers profile of her, we did not need confirmation because ultimately it didn't matter. Luisa's place in the story was and should have stayed as the driving force to push Xiomara and Ava into a relationship with Alvaro. This actually made her more likable as an antagonist especially since she never showed up and was barely shown during the divorce scene. Her showing up out of the blue as well as the café scene weakened her character a lot. The shallow attempt at the end to regain that by reiterating what Carmine says did nothing.

Elvira felt like she was building up to a final pushing force to help everyone accept their new relationship only to be tossed aside for whatever that ending was. I mean having her actually push all three of them to move together and stay together would have made WAY more sense given what she knew and how she pushed Alvaro to see Xiomara. She even said she was a friend of Ava and this was proven when Ava shows up and crashes at her place. This woman not only ended up pushing Alvaro and Xiomara together but then pushed Ava and Alvaro together and she didn't even let the divorce papers cool from the printing machine before she did both! Why on earth would she suddenly dip out? She was clearly still interested in the situation.

Like I said this just fell apart at some point and I can't even think of why. That's the worst part, it had everything it needed to wrap things up in a great way even ignoring the potential for couple different endings. I just can't fathom why.

Would anyone know a fix or a workaround for this error? It's consistent and Ignore just throws me back to main menu.
Edit: is it possible it's "just" the credits not being shown?

Code:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
File "game/Ep10.rpy", line 1145, in script
    call screen credits(60.0)
  File "renpy/common/000statements.rpy", line 609, in execute_call_screen
    store._return = renpy.call_screen(name, *args, **kwargs)
OverflowError: value too large to convert to short
