hi guys.
im getting directx error "couldnt switch to request monitor resolution switching to resolution 1600x900 failed trying lower one. all resolution switches have failed. screen DX11 could not switch resolution (1600x900 fs=0 hz=0)

Another thing, when a start to play V0.7.7 i alredy have the picture of Weronica and Ashly in the bathroom after the yoga pass. The funny is that i don't even have played that part yet, and the bathroom are now locked.....

You need increase the points in the Cheat, for both, Amy and Veronica, is a bug that will be fixed in the next version ;););) And if the game has some issues, try this - Save - is from 0.7.6 version, I wait can help You :):):)

Haveyou tried
1 Re-installing your graphics drivers.
2 Disabling Full Screen Optimization:
2.1 Right click on Man of the house.exe and select properties.
2.2 Click on compatibility.
2.3 Disable fullscreen optimization.
2.4 Click apply and 0K.

I'll look into that and see if I can get an answer for you. I don't know if you can install DirectX in Wine, but you could try that first and see if that corrects the problem (unless you've already tried that).

Unfortunately my knowledge of Linux is limited. I've tried getting it to run in Wine on Linux Mint, but I'm not having any luck. So, sadly I'm unable to help you.

Does Anyone Know how I to unlock the location "The Vault"? I would really appreciate it, its been doing my head in.

I've done up to the bit where the MC had to get the cuffs and blindfold, then cuffing her on the chair but When I go talk to Amy at neon it just the same old thing where she gets the MC a beer.
I've also used the walkthrough but it's not really clear so I haven't got a clue what to do.

While Veronica is cuffed and blindfolded, send Amy a text letting her know she can come over.

Alternatively if everything else is complete use the phone cheat and click all memories to get all missing pictures

09:00 Monday - Friday find her briefcase in the living room you will then need to Google the address on your phone the rest is pretty linear (make sure your Love and Arousal stats are + 45 and + 80 )

I installed DirectX 11 using winetricks, a very common tool to install additional libraries for wine. However, the problem remains unchanged.

When starting the game from the command line, I get the following output:

I hope this helps narrowing down the problem.
Regarding the Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls, AFAIK it is part of the VB runtime, which is installed. SO no idea why it's complaining about it ...
