From your little information you provide here I assume you miss an important optional Windows update!

Unless a new character is introduced the incest patch will always work on the newer version.

Either you did something wrong or you have pirated Windows 7 Ultimate version.. As said before.. you need to give us more information about your problem. Maybe a screenshot of the Error Message...

I can only assume you mean that some choices havent unlocked you need to alternate the dates with her between Movies and Beer each time your stats will increase and you will progress further with each date
