There is an autosave function that is automatically activated and saves your game every 10 minutes or so

i already did that, i tried re-extracting it. it looks like my last extract went wrong because some files were not there after i re-extracted it. thank you so much.

The game was completely revamped around version 8.3. You're better off starting a new game or start with the 100% save included with the game (which is at 8.3 level).
