Thank you for feeling nice. I am new to all this still. I apologize. I already have both of the patches you listed. I had lost the instructions and was not reading them correctly. By doing this I was getting an error. Don't ask which one. As of now I have resolved the issue and am able to play the game. You said to use the search function. I am not familiar as how to use this function. Would it be too much trouble for you to tell where the instructions are explaining the search function? Thank you again for helping me.

It sounds like you have unpacked the game to a place where you dont have permissions to write new files, unpack the game again but this time on your desktop and start a new game make a few moves then save the game and see if that works

If I go inside the phone and click on upload, my bailouts are there, but trying to upload them won't work.

I still have everything between the files:

Are you using the Italian translation as there is a bug that will not let you continue using Italian in version 0.98. You need to open your save in 0.97 load up your save and change the language to English and save, now when you copy the save over to the new version it will work but sadly you will only be able to play the game in English.
The bug has been repaired for version 0.99

Last version I played was v0.9.3, meaning that I can't pick off where I left out. Granted that I could find a 100% save for v0.9.7, but I'd hate to miss the content in between.

Any idea where I could look for the versions in between and download them?

You can pick up where you left off by transferring your saves over to version 0.9.8 instead of having to download each version individually to catch up.

No problem! Glad I could help.

I think that's what confuses some people though -- thinking your saves would load like Ren'Py games, but with Unity, at least with MotH anyway, you would need to move your saves over after each update.

I've thought about writing a batch file to do that for players, but knowing where the game is stored would be nearly impossible. Each person would have to manually edit the batch before using it. So it'd be pretty much impractical for me to write something like that.

Having said that though, if people extracted the game to the root folder (ex: C:\MotH or C:\Man of the House), that would be easier on me and less hassle for players.

You don't need a walkthrough, just follow the hints, but did you move the saves from your old version to the new one? This isn't Ren'Py, it doesn't make copies in your appdata folder. The update will not delete them, so odds are, you just forgot to move them.
