I disagree on that what you're saying you want to make the game more grindy and annoying because you have to up their moods that's just annoying no fun in that and the thing is the game is going to end you have the max out of the game of course i still wish that we can have fun with all the girls who we haven't fun with like coffeshop girl, secretary etc. or a scene with Amy alone without veronica I love veronica but it feels like Amy is only interested in veronica not the mc and the thing with not getting a scene because you fail something is annoying too because you have to play the game then more than one time or have to make many saves and that is something that I hate the most to many devs are doing stupid things like that I don't know why devs destroying a good game with decisions that let you not see every scene and something like that I don't want to play games more than one time and that is with all games besides of course sandbox games because there you do what you want and start something new but story driven games should never have bullshit like decision that prevent you having all scenes but this is just my opinion on it
When I think of grindy, I think of doing the having to do same thing over and over again. For example having to speak to the same character four times in the living room at 8 PM (and getting the exact same responses the first three times) to move the story forward or speaking to the same character in living room at 8 PM and getting the desired response only on Thursday. If it's just about looking at the pictures and watching the animations, are there not porn sites with just such content without the bother of story or game play? I know every one has different tastes, it's just with this game it had game elements but lost them when it went to two week updates.

Do you know play every two weeks isn't mandatory, don't you? I mean, you can wait and play 2, 3 or more updates at one go. The experience may be different for you.
That would provide more content but not more game play in achieving that content. I just feel that originally the game was more interactive. I feel more like a spectator now than someone playing a game.

I disagree in this point. Story driven games aka VN are based on decision. Different decisions will lead to different content/images and perhaps tells a different story of the game.

Form your post I get the feeling that you don't like story driven games in general, where content is based on decisions (like Philly_Games does). In this case games where decision and mostly the story doesn't matter (like Milfy City & Co.) suits you better. But this just my opinion.

I guess I'm kinda weird in that I like decision-based gameplay but I use a walkthrough so someone can tell me what the right decision is. I don't know why, and I realize that completely takes the decision out of my hands, but that's still what feels the most right to me.

If I had rated this game when I first started playing this game, I would have given it a four or a five. Since the developer has been doing these two week updates, I would now rate it a two. I appreciate the effort it takes to get an update out every two weeks and still keep the game looking great. It just seems to me that it has become more like watching porn than playing a game or going through a visual novel. A visual novel has a story and let's be realistic there has never been a story. It's a game where the player has complete specific tasks to move the relationships with various women to the next level. Since the relationships with the main characters have been maxed out, it seems like we have just been getting patches to the game to add additional sex scenes. Some of the updates have required a few achievements but not to the extent that the game required up through the dinner with Claire. Perhaps Faerin is moving toward the end of the game and that would be unfortunate because I think there is a lot more that could be done with this. Even though many of the relationships are maxed out, they could be maintained.

What if Claire was snippy to the kids at dinner and when MC visited her for sex was told that Claire was not in the mood. MC talks to all the family members and while every one has noticed that something is wrong no one knows what it is. Has something happened at work? MC overhears Ashley talking to Sophie about her interest in a teacher (no NTR.) Concerned MC talks to Sophie and learns that Ashley is tired of being treated as a kid, MC arranges a sophisticated evening. He has to get theater tickets, get some one to help him pick out an elegant dress for Ashley, and find an appropriate gift for a young WOMAN.

Date nights could be double dates. I don't know how difficult it would be to have two relation bars, but you might have to go through the dates four times to get all the outcomes. Fail with both girls get a twosome not including you. Succeed with one girl and not the other, twosome with the girl with whom you were successful. Finally, success with both girls, threesome. There could just be dates with characters that you have not dated like Sophie or additional dates with already dated characters, how about it's Veronica's birthday.

Anyway, I would just like to see fewer updates and more substantial content. I would rather wait six or eight weeks and have a more satisfying experience than wait two weeks and get though the entire update in less than ten minutes. Others may feel differently.
Thank you taking the time to write such elaborate feedback.
In my opinion, it's one of those "you can't win" situations.

I take my time to develop characters -> I'm "milking the game" and "blue-balling" players.
I focus on finishing the main characters first, to get to sex scenes sooner -> "Why doesn't character X have more content?"
I add dates -> "I hate mini games/dates are boring".
I add more sex scenes -> "Not enough interactivity/why not more dates?".

This is not to say that all feedback is negative, because the majority of it isn't at all, but I just want to illustrate how hard it is to keep everyone happy (let's face it, it's impossible).

So for every desicion I make that might please you, someone else will come along and advocate the exact opposite (as has been demonstrated already by the replies to your post).
But after all, this is a place to share your opinion and I appreciate each and everyone that takes the time do so constructively, like you did, even if I disagree with parts of it.

And yes, I am working towards the end of the game.
Not because there isn't a lot more content I could add (this could go on for many years), but because I am confronted with decisions I have made during early development, that prevent me from creating a better game.
MotH was initally my way of testing my engine and finding out what "works", it has just gotten way more popular and bigger than I anticipated (for which I am very grateful).

However, now I feel it's time to take things to next level and apply what I have learned over the last couple of years to a new game. Like I've said many times before, I want to finish MotH in a way that pleases the players, but I also need challenge myself in order for me to stay motivated to work on this full time, because (unlike what some may think) I'm not in this just for the money, I want to (and need to) do something I enjoy.

/End rant ;)

Hey man, I've been following your game for probably years now.
Taking the time to read your post, I'll tell you right now because I've notice the same with many other developers.
I'm glad you decided to actually finish this game as I've seen many many devs spend hundreds of thousands of hours on their games and ending up abandoning it because they just didn't have the motivation or drive to keep going due to boredom.
At some point, and this is what I've learned in life. All Great Things must come to an end. (That's what makes them special) and exactly what you said, "You can't please everyone".

Although it's not in my place to say anything:
I think there should be a time in the development where it could be beneficial to start thinking about what you want rather than the players as well, as pleasing your fanbase is a great idea but sometimes, don't you start to wonder if it pleases you?
Since I noticed that pleasing others too much will make game development turn into a chore.

The fact that you actually finished a game that you spent tons of time on is a great accomplishment and you should enjoy the fruits of that accomplishment.

I'm gIad you realize some of what I mentioned above and look foward to what your next game will be. Update us soon m8.
