Hello,
I feel like I need help to progress with Sophia.
She was the first girl I went after, before any other girl in the game (including Ashley). I got to the point where the game hints that I might be able to bump into her in the sauna after her workout. As she saw my MC lying naked, she left the scene feeling shame (she has 15 heart points and 5 arousal points).
Right after that, the game hinted that I should go after Ashley first. So that I did. With Ashley I have got to the point where the game hints about the ice cream van by the beach on sunday (85 heart points and 85 arousal points). Regarding Sophia, I have got a new hint that says that I should be able to bump into her upon leaving my room on weekday afternoons. But that won't happen. Besides, on weekday afternoons she is still working out in the health center.
Am I missing something? Did I break my game when I started with Sophia instead of Ashley?
What can I do? Thank you.

Keep helping Sophia with her workout and meeting her in the sauna until you no longer get any stat gains for her, then check her hints as they'll have changed.
For Ashley's hint, have breakfast with Claire and Ashley on Sunday morning at 9 and go to the beach (do not invite Sophia yet). Then check on Ashley. Get a vanilla ice cream for yourself and buy chocolate ice cream for her, then ask for a taste.
The other hint about bumping into Ashley on weekday afternoons; try leaving your room between 15:00 and 17:00 on a Monday - Friday.

Oh, man. I feel so dumb! I tried waiting just outside my room during weekday afternoons instead of actually leaving the room during that period. The latter has actually made the trick. Hopefully this is what I needed to do to make progress on Sophia's path.

Go to the kitchen in the morning and click on the coffee maker. She should come in to demand your cup. Then fix yourself another cup of coffee.

I haven't gotten the whatsapp in the game. I have helped Ashley Study History 20 times, Math 20 times, Biology 20 times++++ what do I have to do to get this event to trigger? I have the steam version of MOTH and the incest patch. If I HAVE to start over it will be a TOTAL CHEAT run. 35 days+ into this and no whatsapp???
AND I DID SO VERY MUCH TOO: use the search feature of this site, Google, Steam, Mejoress, Game Guides EVERYTHING I could think of to try to get an answer to this question. Why did I not get a whatsapp (event) or how can I trigger it?
Is there a chance that there is no Whatsapp and it is just text messages? I have gotten text messages. But, perhaps I have been misled into believing there is a separate app that I was supposed to get from helping Ashley with her homework which would then lead to getting Pics of Her and Sophie. And this 'whatsapp' would be necessary in order to arrange dates? The walkthroughs all mention a 'Whatsapp'. Please, advise.

Except for the dates and emails, ignore the walkthrough and use the in-game hints. The walkthrough is pretty much outdated and obsolete.

No problem. We're more than happy helping you with your game, but please provide what the hints for that girl are. To some of us, the hints tell us what you need to do to progress better than what the walkthrough says and more often than not, the walkthrough and hints won't always coincide. Meaning the WT says one thing, but your hints, based off what you have already done or haven't done, tells a different story. That's why we say it's outdated and obsolete.Okidoke, ty for your help. When I look at the above hints, I know exactly what needs to be done next to progress Ashley's storyline.
First hint: go to sleep before midnight naked with the door closed and set the alarm clock for 8am. Ashley will come into the bedroom in the middle of the night to sleep with me. This is provided her earlier hint suggests she no longer needs an excuse to sleep with you. Otherwise, I'd have to watch a horror movie with her at 19:00 to get her to come to my room.
Second hint: go to the hallway outside the bathroom at 21:00 and Ashley will call my name and want me to go into the bathroom with her.

Normally it should, unless 0.8.4 was still missing some NPCs. If in doubt, just open "mapping.xml" with a text editor. You'll know what to do, and that's all there is to it.
