That sound about right. Like I said, I kinda stumbled on it by accident. I will try to re-create it with another playthrough. Luckily it's not a real long grind. Although, I guess you could cheat and change the values in the code. But where is the fun in that. Besides, I don't think the lingerie triggers anything just yet. kind of like the casino.

I gave Lingirie for Ashley, but after that nothing new happens, I mean, I saw images of her wearing the new lingerie, but even in the scenes after the horror movie, in the bedroom, she still appears with the old lingerie ...

max stars are 7 for ashley
try to give with cheat (either mod or edit the save) a +1 star to go to 5
with 5 i think that you get the second bath event and after that porn and then lingerie (22:00 outside moms room)

Once I edited the save file the events snowballed one after the other, I wonder if there is a bug causing the 5th star event not to trigger? I gave lingerie to sis but she never seems to wear it though. Also saving & loading no longer works.

Hmmm,
The first version is what, 9 days old ! So perhaps you should give it some times before a such radical judgment.
The fondations are solid so it looks like very promising and the crew seems to be serious and dedicated so, yeah go take a walk and be back in few months if you wanna see hundreds of sex scenes...
But for now, myself, i prefer to praise the good work which has been done so far.

Not for now, though the artwork exists, because the event was implemented in a previous version, but removed due changes to the storyline. It will come back pretty soon though!

The changelog says that cheats have been added to the phone, but I'm not seeing them.

Since the fix hasn't been uploaded yet, here is a step by step guide for those who are stuck with 4 stars. You don't need any special programs.
-open your savegame with notepad: user\AppData\LocalLow\Faerin\Man of the house V0_5_2\savegames (might be hidden)
-search for (CTRL+F): <NPCs>
-a few lines further down you should see a line <Name>Special</Name>, underneath that line you should see <Value>X</Value>, with X being your current stars (most likely 4 if you encountered the bug and are stuck with the bath scene), change it to 5, or anything else, but 5 is enough
-save the file and load a game
