This is also not one, it has a huge free roam component, and whatnot.

I'd say it plays mostly like a adventure game, with a very small rpg aspect and of course daytime dependencies which was abandoned in adventure games a long time ago.

That is the secret ending, you need to get everything else, and then you can unlock it.

Do you have all of the achievements, except for General #16 at 100%? And do you have Claire's suspicion and Ashley's jealousy stats at 5?

I'm not seeing any issues in your save - Karl (161 - 22.53).sav - and the bonus ending is playing as intended. So when you click on your bed, there's a new option that's available. Select "It's impossible to choose".
In the second save you attached - Karl (156 - 12.41).sav - there's still quite a bit you need to do with Pam, Ashley, Sophia and your MC before you can do the bonus ending.
