You should allow the players to chose the name and the family relations at the start of the game.

You can make it whatever you want, probably with a name/relationship mapping or something.
This will be placed in a aconvenient external file, which you should all NEVER open in ANY text editor! You hear?!

Personally I think making the changes mentioned by @DrSmith and just allow the player to name the characters whatever they want (Diane, Angela, Mom, Mother, whatever.) But honestly, as good as you have done so far in the story telling and game development, I trust that whatever you decide will be good.

Then again, I am one of the (seemingly few) on this site for whom incest doesn't make or break a game for me. It is neither a turn on or a turn off in my book and as long as the story is well written, the characters attractive, and the gameplay decent then I am happy.

I was lurking on here for a while.
I am usually on Hongfire most of the time, but a friend told me how much more fun it was over here, because it feels more like a community than a technical forum, so I came over here.
But I think I am a Jinx.:frown: I came over here and all the fun stopped. Now it's just another technical forum.::|: Although, I did meet some really great people and devs.

@Faerin just make sure that old saves for the game works we don't want to start from zero neither we want to do the hardwork.Just let the user decide the mom names and no one else and just add some lines like i was found in the alley as a young kid they took me in blah blah ashley wants to call me big brother blah blah and it's still incest for me especially for old saves.For the new guys let them download v0.5.8 first see the introduction then save it then download the new version you are good to go.

I can see a creator having a "dual" presence online: a website that hosts content that's considered violative to Patreon's guidelines, and a Patreon account where they fund content of a different theme -- but there is no link or relation between the two. As long as there's no "Check out my Patreon page here" on the hosting website, then it wouldn't be a violation.
Icstor is the best example for that.I think he directly pm to the patreon supporters

While this game is basically defined by the incest content for now, I don't think it's locked in to that like some other games are. The only real problem with making the MC a permanent visitor is quickly establishing a deep enough relationship between him and everyone else, especially Ashley, and coming up with an explanation for the situation (spare room, no rent, no out-of-town studies), without dipping into the family bowl. It's essentially impossible to make that happen while still allowing for a player-defined familial relation.

Whatever direction will be taken, a lot of players will be angry. That's the bitterest pill in this ordeal.
