Ppl complain about a dev and his game when this game have less than 2 months and always updated in less than a month, it's better than BB/DmD/Dream of Desire/SS.. and it's the same Graphics quality, maybe better....
Don't listen to them Faerin Humanity's never satisfy!
Keep going on Ashley's pussy and breast, let us discover Veronica's body at your time, ppl will wait for it anyway. Stay focus on your plan for the futur, the ppl who loves your work believ in you!
Just pls don't fall on the trap of facility and keep Originality a goal your game is really great
I think there are two ways to see this. Petty complaints are of course pretty much useless. However, constructive criticism can be a very valuable feedback to the creator of the game because they should try to make the game as best as they could (based on their vision of how the game would be). So while petty complains are useless, blind praise/acceptance is pretty much equally as useless.
For me, my criticism with the game is about the lack of clarity. A few examples about this:
1. Locations that you might not know existed, or whether you've unlocked all possible locations (e.g.: we know Veronica is supposedly going clubbing, is there a "Night Club" location? The player will have zero idea whether such location existed in the game or not. Later on, we realized that she actually worked in the club and that's future content.). Solution? Create a location counter on the map. A simple X/Y number where X is the location you've unlocked and Y is the total unlockable locations would be sufficient to give clarity.
2. Starting up a "quest" with no hint whatsoever. (e.g.: making coffee to start Veronica's plot). Solution? A few different ways, could be an actual Quest menu page (short summary of what the quest is about that would give hint what to do next), could also be an Event counter of X/Y similar to the location counter above (to keep more of the "no-hint" style but to at least inform the player whether there are quests to unlock or not).
3. Time-skip that is in minutes. Is there an actual event that is in minutes? By giving the option to advance time in minutes, it is unclear whether events actually happens in minutes (i.e.: Is there a difference between 19:45 and 19:46?) . Solution? Revamp the time component of the game and streamline it into per 30-minutes instead.
and so on ...
The fundamental concept of the gameplay is fine, it's "open world" style with a lot of "trial and error" method to play the game. It's basically a sandbox game. However, if you look at most sandbox game, they have more clarity by using icons, or an actual quest menu. It's still sandbox but with enough information for the players to figure out what they should be doing, and what they could be doing.
The reason why I think constructive criticism is especially important now is because the game has not gone too far. If there are substantial changes that the creator feel could/should be changed to improve the game, then there's still time to make such changes (e.g.: Veronica's look already changed from first version).
I'll end this by saying that regardless whether Faerin chooses to change things or simply stick to what he does, I think the game itself is already on the good side (there are definitely TONS of adult games that are way worse). I just thought that for a game that is already good, reducing/eliminating the negatives would take it up to another level.
