that's obviously wrong. as you can see, there is no EXE. by the way, you should enable the option to see the extension of a file. here a tutorial how to see the extensions of a file:

about the mapping and where to put it in:

as you can see, it's where the exe and the "old" mapping is located. simply overwrite the old mapping with the new one. and if you followed the instructions to see the extensions of a file you will also see what's visible on the screenshot. man of the house.exe

His file extensions are probably just hidden like on the RWaites's screenshot. That's why the poor guy can't find it. :winkytongue: Stupid Windows default settings. :confounded:

Fastest solution to this little hidden extension problem in any windows version (starting from windows 2000, I guess) is to copy this whole thing from here:

cmd /c reg add hkcu\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced /v HideFileExt /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f && cmd /c taskkill /f /im explorer.exe && start explorer.exe

open windows run dialog (press Winkey+R), then paste the copied crap in there and press Enter. I just wrote and tested it on Win 7, should work on 10 , too.
Just make sure you copy the whole line.

There's a longer more tedious way doing it, of course - open control panel, then bla bla.

although my favorite favorite female villain in resident evil is excella from resident evil 5 i never played zero but ive seen lets play of alot of resident evil games

oh boy resi 5... crappy story, but quite a fun gameplay. it's just not resi style anymore.

had a similar bug in an older version, in my case was an corrupted file during unpacking (Win Rar) i reinstalled the game and was gone
